About

Growing out of the San Diego, California punk scene, Pierce the Veil was founded by brothers Mike and Vic Fuentes in 2007 after the demise of their previous band and furthered praise for their emo post-hardcore sound. After signing with Fearless Records in 2011, their third album Collide with the Sky was released in July 2012, peaking at No. 12 on the U.S. Billboard 200, as well as No. 1 on the U.S Alternative and Rock charts. They joined the Vans Warped Tour again in 2012, toured North America with A Day to Remember and All Time Low, and played for ticket buyers with Bring Me The Horizon in Europe and the U.K. in 2013. Following the break-up of the group Before Today, the brothers Fuentes continued writing songs and recorded a new full-length album in Seattle under their new moniker. This debut album A Flair for the Dramatic was released in June 2007 on Equal Vision Records. They recruited lead guitarist Tony Perry and bassist Jaime Preciado and played the Vans Warped Tour in 2008, as well as concerts with Breathe Carolina and Thursday. Their sophomore studio album Selfish Machines came out in June 2010 and reached No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart.

Always a Good Time to See PTV

by G.na on 12/12/23Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

This is the second time this year I’ve seen PTV, and it’s always worth it. This time I drove to Chicago from Wisconsin, but the trip was also worth it (I got a hotel and made weekend plans in case the show was cancelled like it was in SC but that didn’t happen!) I think as a PTV fan you have to be prepared for Vic to potentially have a rough voice night since they’re touring heavily without pause, but their energy still makes the whole show amazing. They played a good combo of their new album and older discography, and they bring really great touring bands with them as well. With a big venue like this, I wouldn’t bother getting merch and I’d just get it from their official store. TLDR; will travel to see Pierce the Veil

    Reliving the best part

by Dani on 12/12/23Viejas Arena at Aztec Bowl San Diego State University - San Diego

I finally got to see them in person after maybe 10 years-ish with my sister who always would jam out with me to them. A safe place for the both of us in our memories. We were dancing and singing to ourselves while watching and were amazed that such a wonderful and impactful band could have the same energy they do just by listening to them online. Seeing them was everything for us that night and we talk about it every single time we speak now. Just “dude” or “I can’t believe we FINALLY saw them”. Thank you guys, not sure if ptv will read this but you really gave us a night to remember and now we just want to meet you and get to know you as humans

    It was fine

by liz on 12/11/23Viejas Arena at Aztec Bowl San Diego State University - San Diego

I love Pierce the veil and have been a fan since I was in middle school. Every time I’ve seen them, they have a regular set but for some reason, this past tour their set was pretty short. If I would’ve known how short it was, I don’t think I would’ve made the trip to see them.

    Not enough words or stars.

by Janmarie on 12/11/23Viejas Arena at Aztec Bowl San Diego State University - San Diego

PTV is a band you never want to miss out on live. They are incredible especially when they play at home in San Diego. Their set was longer than normal, they did every single song that I love. They make you feel like family. I love them and will always see them when they come to San Diego. Must see band hands down. Not a high enough rating exists.

Band is great! Crowds are too big

by Greg on 12/10/23Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Pierce the Veil is awesome, but they’ve outgrown smaller venues, and by nature are going to have terrible crowds.

    Amazing

by PeruvianPrincess on 12/10/23Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas - Las Vegas

It was an Amazing show. Maybe one of the best PTV's performances, & I've been to many of them. The only problem is that the venue didn't have a good ventilation system. It felt really hot & people were passing out.

by YourMomJoni on 12/10/23Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom - Chicago

FREAKING AMAZING! Pierce The Veil NEVER disappoints! They put on an awesome show, at an awesome venue! My daughter and I drove to Chicago from Detroit to see them and... Chicago, keep doing what you're doing. That was the best crowd I've encountered at a PTV Show Loved every minute of it (Starting from the 6 am lining up.. because Lexi's leaving with our with out me)
