woe is me hometown
by Goldenrod17 on 11/29/11Masquerade - AtlantaLetlive- My first time seeing and hearing them. Put on a great show. They were definitely a great opener. Their stage presence was good. I have never seen a vocalist with the energy their's had. Their sound was in the same genre as The Amity Affliction, Woe Is Me and Miss May I. They all played more than one instrument whether it was cleans and screams or drums and morocco. They played all their instruments very well. The Amity Affliction- first time seeing them live. They are the only metal band from Australia that i have ever heard or seen. They did fit in with all the bands except Pierce The Veil. They had a good stage presence. Their clean vocalist preformed better than most clean vocalist preform live. Woe I Me- I was pleased with the performance from all the member except Hance Alligood. My opinion is that they need to change all the songs or get new ones if they are going to keep Hance. It is nothing against Hance because he is a good vocalist but he just has a sound nowhere near what Tyler Carter could do. They did have some parts of songs pre-recorded with Tyler's voice and I do not like when bands do that. They all had great stage presence and did interact with the crowd well. After their set i met both the guitarist and Hance. They were all nice as the whole band seems to be. Pierce The Veil- Within their genre and show style they did not belong on this tour. They did have a moderately good stage presence. Miss May I-They had a good stage presence. They sound very good live although Levi's scream sound a tad bit different than on recording. Ryan's cleans were very good. They all were very good with their instruments. During the set they had Jerod do a drum solo while the rest of the band left the stage and came back after. I was a fan of this drum solo and it is something i have never seen at a heavy show before. After the show I met Justin and he was a very nice guy as they all see to be.
