Judas Priest on Tour
British heavy metal powerhouse Judas Priest has released 22 albums over four decades. They laid much of the groundwork for the heavy music of the 80s with their two guitar attack of revved up blues-based riffs They continue to tour, treating metal fans to extravagant live shows and spirited renditions of their unmistakable anthems. Ticket holders are sure to get to a concert early because they don't want to miss Singer Rob Halford's stage entrance. He emerges from a cloud of fog riding on a Harley Davidson, clad head to toe in leather-studded S&M gear. The band released a live DVD of their Epitaph World Tour in May 2013, which well received and features 23 tracks covering most eras of the bands storied career.
Judas Priest in Concert
The group formed in 1969 in Birmingham, England and released their first album in 1974 entitled Rocka Rolla. This was soon to be followed by Sad Wings of Destiny in 1976, which gained the group a wider audience in the UK. The group's next three albums: Sin After Sin, Stained Class and Hell Bent for Leather were released in 1977, 1978 and 1979 respectively, and showed a band evolving its sound into shorter songs that still retained a heavy metal punch. Next came the album British Steel in 1980, which featured "Living After Midnight", "Breaking the Law" and "United" â all earning regular radio play. Point of Entry was released in 1981, followed by Screaming For Vengeance in 1984, which went double platinum. The 2008 concept album Nostradamus found them pushing boundaries by challenging their listeners to consider how "metal" the man of prophetic talents actually was. Over the next four years the band toured relentlessly and they show no signs of letting up, with an impressive schedule of tour dates on the books for 2014.Â
I was Indy to visit a friend and took some time to see PRIEST again. Fantastic show.. The venue was amazing and the staff was very friendly and great at their jobs

Excellent concert. Superb venue. Rob Halford's voice still wails. The entire band was on-point. Sabaton impressed me- I wasn't a fan at first, but I must say their live show changed my mind! They are way better live! These bands did not disappoint!
It was an awesome bill. Both bands were great! I was on pit and it was great because it wasnât overcrowded

Still rocking after all these years! This is my first time seeing Priest in concert. It was better than I expected! Rob must have sold his soul to the devil to still be able to hit those crazy high notes after all these years. Wow!!
I had not listened to Judas Priest really since British Steel came out in 1980. I moved to a condo recently and bought a 65 inch TV and saw their live 1983 videoed concert from California and I was blown away, within 2 months I had studied 19 albums and became obsessed with them, I could almost write a book about them now LOL. I battled my way to the front of the stage when they played in Indiana so I had a bird's eye view of the stage and in front of Richie Falcon Faulkner. The only thing I regret is the light show was so good and I missed most of that being up front and what I've seen from people farther back it was really amazing so that's my only regret but I love the Metal God and Judas Priest forever.
I've seen Priest dozens of times and they have never failed to nail it! Rob Halford is seventy-two and sings like he's thirty. Great energy, great sound, and great visuals!
Just saw Judas Priest at an outdoor concert venue in Indy. Very impressive show - hadn't seen them in almost 40 years. The band was tight, played old and new material for almost 2 hours. What was most impressive was Rob. I honestly cannot believe he can still belt out all their songs when so many of his peers have lost the voice of their youth. Well worth going to see JP. The opening act, Sabaton, put on a great performance as well so don't miss them.
Went to see Judas Priest at Vavellu center in Youngstown Saturday night ,excellent place,the sound was great ,I like a smaller venue!!
Sabaton was so good. I wish they could of played more songs. I could of listened to them all night.
What a fabulous show. Band was fantastic! The crowd was packed and electric! Loved every second! The level of musicians talents is endless.
The show was good. A smaller venue made it more intimate. I canât believe those guys are still able to get up on the stage. I give them credit. Iâm sure at 80 years old. I wonât be doing that !! All in all a great show.

Chairs on the floor up the rail rally make it hard to rock out for the fans and the band, probably the only time Sabaton has ever been...meh

Both Priest and Sabaton put on a fantastic show in a great venue to see a band... only drawback to the venue was the lack of bathroom availability... the lines were insane between acts.
The Judas Priest show in Boston at MGM Fenway was AMAZING!! I have been to many concerts and this one had the most energy of any show I have seen. Rob Halford sounded awesome and the performance was unbelievable! At the end of the show all I could think was that was the most fun I have had at any show! THANK YOU JUDAS PRIEST!!
I was very impressed with the song selection, length of show, and how well Rob Halford could still belt out the old songs! The whole band was great, the light show was amazing, Rob riding out on stage on the Harley for Hell Bent for Leather was so cool. It reminded me of the first time I saw them in 1980. That album was new then, I think. I remember that's how they started the show (the Harley and the song). He really is the Metal God.
