My mother has always loved the movie, although some of the play was different, it was still very good and a great family outing for Christmas!
WC was everything I hoped it would be-colorful, great music, wonderful acting, and high energy. I was transported to the 40s.
Dallas Summer Musical's portrayal of Irving Berlin's White Christmas was very boring. I found myself dozing many times. The singing was not of great quality and the acting lacked that of high school drama class. I've been to many community musicals which were of higher quality.
The singing and dancing did justice to a family classic.
It was a wonderful production of a classic favorite. I was afraid I would compare it too much to the movie and Bing, Danny and Rosemary. The singing was so good, I didn't even think of the movie or the stars in it. If it comes again next year, our entire family will attend.
The dancing and singing were wonderful. Especially the tap dancing. Our entire family went and had a good time. Only negative was traffic around Music Hall before performance.
I would not recommend this musical. The set design, choreography, singing, storyline and acting was below average.
Save your money...if you like the movie you won't like this show. They changed the story and left out many good songs. They didn't even get the red dresses right in the last song. Vocal performances were mediocre at best. The lead roles were hard to keep straight for guys. Bob Wallace was taller and had brown hair so I had a hard time remembering who was Bob and who was Phil. I was very disappointed and wished I had saved my money.
The musical was very entertaining and I enjoyed the dancing. The costumes were very lovely and the singing was great.
White Christmas was amazing for anyone who loves old show tunes, dancing and musicals. But my kiddos were a little bored and would have rather seen something more upbeat. Don't get me wrong it was wonderful but for the right crowd.
White Christmas was a classy, well produced and joyful Yule tide feast. The dancing was top drawer. The cast was evenly wonderful and the four leads superior.
The musical was fabulous!! I took my 4 grown daughters and I too see White Christmas, because that is my favorite Christmas movie!! We were on time, but almost late due to traffic. We met the producer, whom told us not to leave until the end. My 2nd daughter responded, but thats the best part of the movie! We loved it and would see it again!!
The dancing was mesmerizing. I've never seen such tap dancing! The 8 in my party were mesmerized by the energy of this show -- even those who aren't dancers were impressed. Sets were simple, but costumes were spectacular. The music, the vocals, the dancing were the stars of this show.
Bad singing, not a good stage play compared to the movie. They should have let it end when it was supposed to!
Loved it! A great way to start our family holiday! Our first time to take the train-so easy!
Fantastic show. Great dancing, singing, and humor.
What timing to get to see White Christmas just before Christmas. The cast was amazing
I took my wife and kids to see the show for our 26th any anniversary. We really enjoyed. The outstanding performance of the musicians and actors made it such a great production. We always have been big fans of the movie, now we are fans if the musical too. Nobody can leave the theater without feeling the season holiday spirit. Thumps up!!!
It's not often that I'm surprised at how good a show is. I was expecting that it would be solid but it really blew my wife and I away. The singing, acting and dancing were excellent. And oh that dancing! You don't often see classic show dancing anymore. These folks don't think they can dance. They CAN dance. Everything about it was pitch perfect. I wish we could see it again! Highly recommended.
The cast did a marvelous job. This was a delightful presentation of the musical. It would be hard to pick a favorite moment or cast member.
