ZZ Top Concert Schedule

ZZ Top is a legendary American rock band known for their blues-infused rock music, bawdy lyrics and long, red beards. ZZ Top tours include the 2017 Tonnage Tour, 2016 Hell Raisers Tour, and the 2013 La Futura Tour. ZZ Top live shows leave the audience laughing dancing and feeling like they are at a jam session with close friends, instead of a concert headlined by rock and roll legends. Their massive success has allowed all of their albums to reach gold or platinum status. The band's best selling album is 1983's Eliminator, which spawned the hit singles "Legs" and "Sharped Dress Man." The album went on to sell 10 million units, reaching diamond status and the 25 million records they've sold in the U.S. makes them one of the top 100 selling artists in the country. ZZ Top has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, and they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004.

ZZ Top Background

ZZ Top formed in 1969 in Houston Texas with guitarist and lead vocalist Billy Gibbon, organist Lanier Greig and drummer Dan Mitchell. The name of the band came from Gibbons combining the names of B.B. King and Z.Z. Hill, when he noticed that many artists used their initials as their band's name. When ZZ King seemed too close to the originals he changed it to ZZ Top. The current lineup of the band consists of bassist and lead vocalist Dusty Hill, Billy Gibbon and drummer Frank Beard. ZZ Top's signature sound can best be described as blues-infused rock with elements of punk rock and new wave added through their use synthesizers. While Eliminator was the band's most successful album with 10 million albums sold, 1985's Afterburner was their highest charting album. All the singles from Afterburner were Top 40 hits and the album itself went on to sell five million copies. Other Top 40 singles include 1975's "Tush," 1977's "I Thank You," and 1981's "Gimme All Your Lovin'"Follow ZZ Top on social media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Facebook.

It was a great show. ZZ Top still sounds and looks great. I will see them again.

This would be a five star review if it were for the band only. They were great and sounded great. Nice to be able to see them in a local venue and not a huge arena Tickets were reasonably affordable too. My only complaint with the venue was the floor seats were so close and the concert goers were so fat, that it was worse that your last plane ride between two obese travelers. Space the floor seating better or make these people buy two tickets. Having said that it was easy into the venue, free parking and easy out. Glad to have a chance to see Billy and co.

  • ZZTop brought it

ZZTop rocked! Outstanding talent and played all the hits. Really enjoyed Billy Gibbons joking around with the crowd. They put on one hell of a show!

  • Phenomenal

The performance was so good, it was as if I was listening to ZZ Top on Spotify. I love a concert where the performers are so professional they bring their music alive and bring back many years of memories.

  • Good with a few speed bumps.

by Jeff on 9/16/25Radians Amphitheater - MemphisRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was fun. ZZ Top was a cross off my bucket list. We had lawn seats and got a pretty good spot. We could see the old guys jamming but the loud speakers were up too loud or something. They were distorted and distracting. The only other thing was the parking but I understand how many people were there and the chore it is to park them in a limited area. All in all a good experience.

Excellent show from start to finish. The opening act , Black Stone Cherry was outstanding and ZZ Top still has it going on…they played all their hits and were great!! A fun evening of great entertainment in a lovely venue.

  • ZZ Top at Tuscaloosa Amphitheatre

by Tricia on 9/10/25Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater - TuscaloosaRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first visit to the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater. I attended the ZZ Top concert. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the entire venue but especially the restrooms. They were the cleanest I have ever seen at a concert. Whoever was responsible for the stage and wardrobe did a phenomenal job. The stage and ZZ Tops wardrobe were decorated perfectly (especially B. Gibbons hat) blending bright, bold, neon colors with old school charm. ZZ Tops performance was probably the best I have seen them. I would highly recommend the facility and seeing ZZ Top perform.

  • IT WAS GREAT!!

by Sam on 9/10/25Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater - TuscaloosaRating: 5 out of 5

The show started with Black Stone Cherry, and they put on a wonderful show, got the crowd really involved. Played some really great music. Great lead off for ZZTOP. Then that little band from Texas came out and blowed the roof off, even for an outside event. Brought out some of the old blues style they’re famous for and really put on an amazing show. Hope to go back to that venue and see another show.

Great concert! covered most of the hits. just wish it would have lasted longer than 90 minutes.

  • Terrible

by M Ryan on 9/9/25Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - MurphysRating: 1 out of 5

Waited 1 hour and 40 minutes outside the venue due to complete incompetence and terrible staffing of the sold-out event. 7,000 people and only two security people working the entry gates (at the main entrance). RIDICULOUS. Technically there was a third person (a black female who was doing almost nothing and actively discriminating against almost everyone). Ended up missing most of the concert and we left before even getting through the gate (despite the excessive wait time). This venue is TERRIBLE, not operationally competent to handle a large crowd, and TicketMaster would be smart to discontinue any business relationship with this facility.

  • Always entertaining!

  • No words

    by Moody’s Girl on 9/9/25Radians Amphitheater - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

There are no words to express how awesome the ZZ Top concert was at The Botanical Gardens. We were able to sit close enough to a screen to see everything going on and the weather was absolutely perfect!!!

  • Awesome. ZZ Top great loved the show

by Sharona on 9/9/25Radians Amphitheater - MemphisRating: 5 out of 5

It was awesome. I hopefully will get to see them again. For them to be 75 years old they did a great show. Wished I would have aeen them when there were 3.

  • ZZ Top Ironstone Amphitheater 9/28/25

    by Jodee Y on 9/6/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Bought tickets for my husband's birthday present. I saw ZZ Top in 1976 in Anaheim, CA ...couldn't believe it had been 50 years ago. They're still rockin' it. Great concert and Night Ranger & Molly Hatchet were awesome (Molly Hatchet even signed autographs on their shirts & talked! To everyone who came by). Have been to Ironstone Amphitheater for 2 previous concerts (Lynrd Skynard & Bad Company with Peter Framton)); Ironstone Rocks, great parking, easy entrance, great seats. Sure miss the old days of $15 - $25.00 bucks for tickets though...lol🤣 You know they might be getting a lot older, but so are we. So enjoy the shows and remember when we were all young, and think about if you could still be rocking a show after 50 years!

  • Perfect Concert Experience

by BJG on 9/3/25Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - MurphysRating: 5 out of 5

ZZ Top and Night Ranger at Ironstone Winery was amazing! Night Ranger can still rock in America. ZZ Top sounded most excellent, with Billy Gibbons guitar performance being one of the best I've heard. The venue was beautiful, with reasonably priced drinks. My first time at Ironstone and I highly recommend going there for a concert.

  • Very fun, great show

by Sheryl on 9/3/25Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - MurphysRating: 5 out of 5

I was really nervous about having to use my PHONE TICKETS. First time I ever had to do that. The venue is wonderful all the staff and volunteers were great. The time to set up and take down between bands was wonderful.

  • ZZ-Top, Nightranger...

by RocknReitsma on 9/3/25Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - MurphysRating: 4 out of 5

The bands were great. ZZ-Top and Nightranger were great! Ironstone sucked Big Time. We never got to see Molly Hatchet. Got in line at 5:30pm and did not get into reserved seating until almost 8pm. Ironstone bottle necked everyone into one very small entrance. General admin (lawn seating) and reserved seating were all bottle necked down into one entrance with only 3 people checking/scanning before entrance. Also they only had one, yes one porta toilet by the front of the line. Once in the event, there were only 3 porta toilets for use. I'm sure people were peeing in the bushes and planter boxes all over the place. Who ever is responsible for guest services should be fired. They seriously need to majorly improve entrance and guest services. People thast are paying hundreds of dollars for seating, should have a dedicated entrance. Maybe have some speakers installed along the long line so people can at least here the bands they paid to see, but are missing them... The list goes on and on.

  • ZZ Top-Night Ranger-Molly Hatchet

by Renorocker on 9/3/25Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - MurphysRating: 5 out of 5

ZZ Top were amazing as always, these guys just keep rocking. If you get a chance you should definitely check them out. Night Ranger put on another epic show, their high energy show was amazing although 7 songs were not enough. Molly Hatchet kicked things off with a bang. They were superb. A great evening was enjoyed by all, especially the kid in the front row with the mullet. The bands all showed him love!!

  • Sound quality

by Bob on 9/2/25Ironstone Amphitheatre at Ironstone Vineyards - MurphysRating: 3 out of 5

The show was great and it’s a really nice venue, but the sound quality throughout the show was poor. This was puzzling, because I saw Night Ranger at the hard rock about 6 months ago and were excellent. Because of the bad sound, I was very disappointed. It improved a short time into ZZ Top’s performance, but it was never great.
