ZZ Top Tickets

I the sound was great. The visuals were great (smoke stack mic stands with lights and custom drum set motif, etc...). But the show was short for the price. At $80 per ticket and no opening band, every other show I've been to like that has played for at least two hours. ZZ Top started at 8:13pm and were off the stage by 9:24pm. They have so much material and history that they could've easily played for two solid hours and then left and came back for an encore set.

This was my 5th time, my husband's 6th time and my two teenagers' 1st time to see ZZ Top. Awesome as always - these dudes are still rockin' it out. My kids were totally blown away by the whole experience. We didn't have an opening act but it was OK - who could get you in the mood for ZZ Top? NO ONE. I wish we could have gotten more than one encore from them though! Our only complaint was the amount of time wasted standing in line waiting for two shuttles to get to the venue and back to our hotel. Waiting is inevitable at large events such as this but it took huge chunks of time to get from point A to point B to point C, etc. The other concert goers were friendly and, for the most part, considerate.

The show was totally awesome from start to finish.

I am as old as ZZ Top (heaven forbid). I have bought their record albums from Day 1 back in the early 70's. I know Billy, since I once lived in Houston. They are great guys and a great band. So with that, I feel well qualified to offer my two-cents worth for last night's concert at Coushata Casino. The band played a lot of their big hits and some off-the-wall blues stuff. I think they could have played a whole lot more of their "big hits" and brought the roof down had they not played some of the bluesy off-the-wall stuff. I feel the band and the performance was just on the edge of having me convinced to say that this was the best concert I'd ever seen or heard. However, this was not the case because ZZ played too much off-the-wall bluesy stuff where they could have played a whole lot more of their biggy hits. In all, the show was way too short for the price they get these days. They played a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes. Just expand this by 20 minutes (4 or 5 more songs) and no one would complain about getting their money's worth. Don't get me wrong, I love the band and they will always be one of my favorite bands. On another note, the sound was fantastic and dynamic. Probably the best sound I've heard in an arena in a long time. My hat's off to the sound crew and the guy who designed the whole system. You could actually understand the vocals and all the instruments were well balanced.

A great performance by a great band, with two caveats: 1) All of a sudden, they were finished, no thank you, no good night, they simply walked off the stage. People got up and started leaving, but you weren't really sure if it was over, until they turned on all of the lights. 2) It was one hour and twenty minutes long. I expect at least near two hours for a concert worth the money. Sort of a letdown.

I found the concert was a little of a disappointment. The first half of the concert was slow to get started for someone who wanted to see ZZ Top play their own music. The band played some jazz, blues, and Jimi Hendrix. The only song of their own was Nationwide. Then during the second half, they played Legs, Sharp Dressed Man, Gimme All Your Lovin', and a couple of others. The show only consisted of the three members of ZZ Top. Nothing else occurred on stage. They had a large screen behind Frank, the drummer, but there wasn't anything really eye catching. I have paid less for more entertaining shows. Maybe they put on a better show with Aerosmith. This was not that great.

It was a great concert. It was my sons first concert he enjoyed it a great deal as did I. The location was as good as any other that I've been to and the casino had plenty of entertainment before and after the show. Glad that my son and I had the chance to go and would like to go back again for another concert.

Music and performance was great, but could have lasted another 15 minutes. Ended a little abruptly.

What a great band --- Billy Gibbons is one of the best guitar players on the planet.....So kids if u really wanna know what a band should sound like --- Go to a ZZ top show --- these guys are legends....

What a GREAT evening! We had great seats, but, we ended up watching the entire show down by the stage. The "BEARDED WONDERS" had their game on last night~consummate showmen who gave us an awesome show from start to finish. The drum set was a work of art~the nicest I have ever seen at a live performance! The crowd was happy to see them, and, they let us know that they were happy to see us, too! There is no generation gap with these guys~the diverse age bracket of those in attendance shows that good things endure!!! Tell the Guys THANK YOU for us!!! :)

Played my favorite songs--Sharp Dressed Man, Legs, Gimme All Your Lovin'. Showed videos from the Eighties. Showed pictures of them when they were younger. The performers themselves looked like they were having a good time playing for their fans.

The ZZ Top concert at the IP Casino Resort & Spa on 07/10/09 was AWESOME! I have seen them several times, but this was the best. The venue had seating for 1200 and we had second row center seats that could not have been better.

I have seen them 6 or more times and am looking forward to the next concert. Always a great show. My wife and I will be purchasing the meet and greet package when we see them next.

OVERALL THIS CONCERT WAS FANTASTIC, I WAS GOING TO FLY SOMEWHERE TO SEE THEM AS THEY WHERE ON MY LIST OF MUST SEE CONCERTS, BUT FORTUNATELY THEY CAME TO MY AREA. I WISH I WAS CLOSER TO THE STAGE, THERE PERFORMANCE OF CLASSIC ZZ TOP SONGS WERE RIGHT ON AND IF THEY COME BACK I WILL SEE THEM AGAIN !!!

ZZtop is my all time favorite band and I will always enjoy the shows Wish I could see them more often

This was the second time to see my favorite band and they were just exactly what I expected. I was not disappointed in any way and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I will go see them again if I can. They played all my favorite songs.

I cannot write into word the experience we had at the concert. adjectives of incredible, awesome, amazing are enough to cover the way it was.

ZZ Top was awesome!! they still have their own style, sound, and energy. I would definitely tell a friend to go see them live.

of 50+ something year olds reliving their 20 something years.... good rockin' fun for all

One of no, the best show I ever saw. Me and my wife both agree IP Casino is the best place to see a concert.
