ZZ Top Concert Schedule

ZZ Top is a legendary American rock band known for their blues-infused rock music, bawdy lyrics and long, red beards. ZZ Top tours include the 2017 Tonnage Tour, 2016 Hell Raisers Tour, and the 2013 La Futura Tour. ZZ Top live shows leave the audience laughing dancing and feeling like they are at a jam session with close friends, instead of a concert headlined by rock and roll legends. Their massive success has allowed all of their albums to reach gold or platinum status. The band's best selling album is 1983's Eliminator, which spawned the hit singles "Legs" and "Sharped Dress Man." The album went on to sell 10 million units, reaching diamond status and the 25 million records they've sold in the U.S. makes them one of the top 100 selling artists in the country. ZZ Top has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, and they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004.

ZZ Top Background

ZZ Top formed in 1969 in Houston Texas with guitarist and lead vocalist Billy Gibbon, organist Lanier Greig and drummer Dan Mitchell. The name of the band came from Gibbons combining the names of B.B. King and Z.Z. Hill, when he noticed that many artists used their initials as their band's name. When ZZ King seemed too close to the originals he changed it to ZZ Top. The current lineup of the band consists of bassist and lead vocalist Dusty Hill, Billy Gibbon and drummer Frank Beard. ZZ Top's signature sound can best be described as blues-infused rock with elements of punk rock and new wave added through their use synthesizers. While Eliminator was the band's most successful album with 10 million albums sold, 1985's Afterburner was their highest charting album. All the singles from Afterburner were Top 40 hits and the album itself went on to sell five million copies. Other Top 40 singles include 1975's "Tush," 1977's "I Thank You," and 1981's "Gimme All Your Lovin'"Follow ZZ Top on social media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Facebook.

  • They can't be 60!!!!!!!!!!!!

by JoniK on 7/20/09Coushatta Casino Resort - KinderRating: 4 out of 5

I thought the sound and performance was excellent. They still sound like they do years ago with the same energy level. I was just disappointed that the show lasted 1 hour for the price that they charged.

  • too short

Great show but the band only played for an hour and fifteen minutes. I've seen ZZ Top four or five times dating back to the early seventies. Enjoyed it but not for long enough.

Great Concert and ZZ Top is the Best. The sound in the Pervillion was not very good. Need to have better sound. Did not justify the great music from legends ZZ Top........Great time

ZZ Top is always over the top. They are always first rate in there shows and their music will live on forever. They have been my favorite since the beginning in Houston. I took my husband who is 63 and never would listen to them and now he's hooked.

    by Jessica03 on 7/20/09Coushatta Casino Resort - KinderRating: 4 out of 5

The music was great but the show was short. I expected a longer show than an hour and a half. I am glad to say that I have seen them, just wish it would have lasted longer.

    by michitex1 on 7/19/09Coushatta Casino Resort - KinderRating: 5 out of 5

Seeing ZZ Top at the Coushatta Pavilion was as close and personal like being at a Texas backyard bar-b-cue. They served up thier hits and had the place smokin and salivating for more.

  • ZZTOP-was-incredible.

  • ZZ Top was awesome

by kutebuni on 7/19/09Coushatta Casino Resort - KinderRating: 4 out of 5

ZZ Top was awesome, loved the old songs, but that what I grew up on. Our seats was not the best in the world, we were on the floor , had to recomend the row 2 ahead of us that we could not see. Thank goodness for the big screen. But all in all it was a very good show.

  • Better than imagined

by TDAHL on 7/19/09Coushatta Casino Resort - KinderRating: 5 out of 5

It's amazing how much they still have left in them. It was fun, entertaining and left me wanting more...but in a good way. Hard to believe two guitars and drums can sound that amazing.

  • ZZ Top was fantastic!
