ZZ Top Concert Schedule
ZZ Top is a legendary American rock band known for their blues-infused rock music, bawdy lyrics and long, red beards. ZZ Top tours include the 2017 Tonnage Tour, 2016 Hell Raisers Tour, and the 2013 La Futura Tour. ZZ Top live shows leave the audience laughing dancing and feeling like they are at a jam session with close friends, instead of a concert headlined by rock and roll legends. Their massive success has allowed all of their albums to reach gold or platinum status. The band's best selling album is 1983's Eliminator, which spawned the hit singles "Legs" and "Sharped Dress Man." The album went on to sell 10 million units, reaching diamond status and the 25 million records they've sold in the U.S. makes them one of the top 100 selling artists in the country. ZZ Top has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, and they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004.
ZZ Top Background
ZZ Top formed in 1969 in Houston Texas with guitarist and lead vocalist Billy Gibbon, organist Lanier Greig and drummer Dan Mitchell. The name of the band came from Gibbons combining the names of B.B. King and Z.Z. Hill, when he noticed that many artists used their initials as their band's name. When ZZ King seemed too close to the originals he changed it to ZZ Top. The current lineup of the band consists of bassist and lead vocalist Dusty Hill, Billy Gibbon and drummer Frank Beard. ZZ Top's signature sound can best be described as blues-infused rock with elements of punk rock and new wave added through their use synthesizers. While Eliminator was the band's most successful album with 10 million albums sold, 1985's Afterburner was their highest charting album. All the singles from Afterburner were Top 40 hits and the album itself went on to sell five million copies. Other Top 40 singles include 1975's "Tush," 1977's "I Thank You," and 1981's "Gimme All Your Lovin'"Follow ZZ Top on social media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Facebook.

Just saw them at reading sovereign center and one of the best shows I've seen. Great intimate venue and they definitely rocked the house.
ZZ Top keeps on rockin. It's amazing how these guys can play the same songs every nigth and still enjoy keeping the fans entertained. I enjoyed every moment of the show. They played almost all of their hits that spanned over 3 decades of making music. Frank Beard's drum kit is awesome. This was a special treat being in such a small, intimate setting such as the Soverign Performing Arts Center. There was no opening act and the band came on about 8 oclock which was great because the show ended early on a Sunday night.
For many years this has been my favorite rock band. And having attended their concert last friday night, I am more convinved than ever. Same three guys, same three chords for 40 years now, absolutely amazing. The audience was on their feet the entire show, they palyed all the old favorites, and as a guitar player myself, I was just blown away with their musical ability and showmanship. This was one of the best performances I have ever seen. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Show was great...... only complaint.... too short!
What a fantastic concert! It was the first time I had ever seen them in concert and I would go again tonight in a second. WOW! If you get a chance...GO! They were awesome!
The ZZ Top concert in SWNY was a classic old style concert with no glitz or special effects. Just three good old boys from Texas playing their classics. I enjoyed the fact they mixed some of their old blues stuff with their newer songs. The Seneca Alleghany venue was okay. To bad the seating wasn't stadium style so the people in the cheap seats got a better view. The only criticism for the night was that the TOP didn't play long enough. 1 1/2 hours and they were out the door.
This was my 14 year old son's first concert. He was so excited and was not let down. He proclaimed ZZ Top as the baddest men on earth. The show was great and the venue was really cool. Sovereign Performing Arts Center is a beautiful old building and it made it that much cooler. It was a great show will old and newer songs and even a killer rendition of Jimmy Hendrix's Foxy Lady . I would see them 100 times over. It was one of the best shows I have seen and it was a first concert experience my son will never forget.
Worst performance i ever saw. sadly disappointed. There sound system was awful first few songs couldnt even hear them sing, and i know it wasnt the theater because i saw chicken foot and they rocked the house. wouldve been better off staying home and listening with headphones.
They sounded great live and are amazing guitar players. My only small disappointment was that they didn't come out until 10 PM when the tickets say 8 PM. Long time to stand around waiting, if I knew we had time to kill I would have come in later and enjoyed myself in the casino.
This was the third time I saw ZZ Top at the Beacon and it keeps getting better every time!
Small group with a solid rockin sound. The band has a great time performing and enjoys being on stage. Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill can still get it done, fuin band to see with a lot of hits.
one of the best shows ive seen in years ! and ive probably been to 25 shows in the last 3 years.
I have to say I was quite amazed at what a wonderful show they put on!! In today's times, when there are sets that costs thousands of dollars, ZZ Top simply came out with some light cubes and a heart shaped pedestal for the drummer........which only shows you don't need all of the glitz and glamour to put on a great show for the audience. I would definitely recommend this show and would love to see it again !!
Great show by the Top, and the best show I've seen at the Beacon. While they mostly played '70s and '80s songs as written (not a bad thing), there were several improvs off standards, with a couple of influential non-ZZ songs (one you've heard, and one bluesy '30s tune you maybe haven't). As a long-time fan, I would have liked to have heard some of the newer post-80's material (Rhythmeen, XXX, Mescalero), but those were less well known. 100% of the concert playlist was pure Top, and the Beacon was a great venue for a classic and loud band which is still pumping out new music.
I thought that the sound system at the Seneca Allegany Casino was great! There was no bad seat in the house. These guys still have it!
ZZ Top blew me away! They always put on a great show but being up close to the stage like that left no room to hide anything! and they ROCKED!
Billy Gibbons was very talkative and the band was as tight as ever - quite frankly they still .rock the house - the set was a little blues heavy in the beginning
I've always wanted to see these guys and this show finally worked out. It was definitely a show that any fan should catch. Well worth the price of admission. Great set list. Dusty and Billy are hardcore showman.
One of the best live shows I've seen. The crowd was great, the venue was perfect and the band sounded outstanding. They even played some Hendrix! I highly recommend them.
