ZZ Top Concert Schedule
ZZ Top is a legendary American rock band known for their blues-infused rock music, bawdy lyrics and long, red beards. ZZ Top tours include the 2017 Tonnage Tour, 2016 Hell Raisers Tour, and the 2013 La Futura Tour. ZZ Top live shows leave the audience laughing dancing and feeling like they are at a jam session with close friends, instead of a concert headlined by rock and roll legends. Their massive success has allowed all of their albums to reach gold or platinum status. The band's best selling album is 1983's Eliminator, which spawned the hit singles "Legs" and "Sharped Dress Man." The album went on to sell 10 million units, reaching diamond status and the 25 million records they've sold in the U.S. makes them one of the top 100 selling artists in the country. ZZ Top has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, and they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004.
ZZ Top Background
ZZ Top formed in 1969 in Houston Texas with guitarist and lead vocalist Billy Gibbon, organist Lanier Greig and drummer Dan Mitchell. The name of the band came from Gibbons combining the names of B.B. King and Z.Z. Hill, when he noticed that many artists used their initials as their band's name. When ZZ King seemed too close to the originals he changed it to ZZ Top. The current lineup of the band consists of bassist and lead vocalist Dusty Hill, Billy Gibbon and drummer Frank Beard. ZZ Top's signature sound can best be described as blues-infused rock with elements of punk rock and new wave added through their use synthesizers. While Eliminator was the band's most successful album with 10 million albums sold, 1985's Afterburner was their highest charting album. All the singles from Afterburner were Top 40 hits and the album itself went on to sell five million copies. Other Top 40 singles include 1975's "Tush," 1977's "I Thank You," and 1981's "Gimme All Your Lovin'"Follow ZZ Top on social media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Facebook.

ZZ TOP put on an awesome show. the venue was great
I grew up listening to ZZ Top, and they’ve been one of my favorite bands ever since I first heard them back in the ’70s. I miss seeing Dusty on stage, but knowing he personally chose Elwood to take his place says it all. Every tour brings something new for the fans to enjoy, and this show—like always—did not disappoint at the Viejas outdoor venue.
Music and performance was great! Venue was very nice, concert outdoors. I felt the seating was very close no leg room. Overall fun
I was first row second section people were standing up for a section last row and I couldn’t see a thing only heads they said they couldn’t do nothing about it the venue is really flat and the stage is not elevated very much. Very poor shut up. Never go there again. Everybody in my section was upset that they wouldn’t tell the people in the in front section to sit down.
My comment is on their concert venue. The seats are too small. They are cheap, uncomfortable plastic and to make it worse they tie them together with ziplocs so you're right up next to the person next video. I would be willing to pay more if they would give me more seat room.
I seen them two years ago and they were great and were even better this time! Lots of fun and still rock!🙌🏻🤘🏻
Walking on pea gravel in the common area is awful. That was a bad idea. Need to remove pea gravel and install compacted white rock. Restrooms in VIP area had no lighting, very hard to see. Large restroom in VIP area had some out of order toilet stalls.
I’ve been a fan of the trio from Texas for four decades but had never seen them live. When this show popped up, I decided I shouldn’t put it off any longer. We had never been to the venue before. It was a nice, simple layout, easy parking, seating depended on when you got there and it was good. A nice laid back place. Food and drink prices were better than what we normally see in Indy. The sound was pretty decent especially for a smaller, outdoor amphitheater. It seemed like the sound on the vocals was a bit off but Billy still sounded good. In all a great show with all the classic songs and performed by a great band. I am happy I was able to see them and if they come around again, I’ll be back for sure!
Good to sit outside and listen to music you grew up with.
Parking and waiting in line on side streets is crazy! Need to go ahead and let people enter and park as they arrive!
We were at the Mill in Terra Haute, IN. Concert was awesome, The is one of the best places to see shows.
The venue was great. The opening act was super (Jive Mother Mary)!!! ZZ TOP was phenomenal.... You can not go wrong with this band. They sounded awesome, the stage was great and merchandise was exceptional.
ZZTOP was great. But the Mill venue was not great. I had lawn seats which was ok, it was hard to see the stage from the lawn. All I could see was the back of heads and had to stand in order to see the stage. The porta potties were horrible. There was urine on the floor the toilet paper was wet and unable to use. The water stations were out of water and paper towels before the event even started. The parking was not great. Had a hard time finding my car in the dark. Cars were scrambling all around trying to get out, and people were walking around everywhere trying to find their cars. I don't think that I will attend an event there again. ZZTOP magnificent.
ZZ Top was my favorite concert this year! They still sound amazing and well worth going to see.
ZZ Top can still put on a concert that rocks the house! Loved being at MGM. Smaller venue. Close parking. Easy access. Restaurants on site. Will definitely attend another event there.
It was an evening of laughter and fun. The songs took us back a few years and we truly enjoyed the entire evening.
ZZ Top played non stop. Played hit after hit, this show did not disappoint. ZZ Top was cool before cool was cool and Billy Gibbons, yes he’s still got it! Awesome show and would highly recommend.
It was unfortunate that the opening act, the Vindy's, had the power go out on them and had to cut their show short. They were very good. I was just starting to get into him cuz I had never seen them before. ZZ Top blew the roof off of the place. They sounded great and played all the hits you wanted to hear. It's hard to believe that only three guys can make that much music. Just a great show '
Good sound, loved all the classics, glad they are still with us and rocking. The only thing I would change is to invest in more comfortable seating. A lot of the classic shows attract an older crowd and we get stiff and sore faster. Sitting in the current chairs gets painful half way into the show.
Did not know there was opening act. They were so so then there was a power issue. More delay. Disappointed with ZZTop song selection. At least we finally got LaGrange. Good guitar playing.
