ZZ Top Concert Schedule

ZZ Top is a legendary American rock band known for their blues-infused rock music, bawdy lyrics and long, red beards. ZZ Top tours include the 2017 Tonnage Tour, 2016 Hell Raisers Tour, and the 2013 La Futura Tour. ZZ Top live shows leave the audience laughing dancing and feeling like they are at a jam session with close friends, instead of a concert headlined by rock and roll legends. Their massive success has allowed all of their albums to reach gold or platinum status. The band's best selling album is 1983's Eliminator, which spawned the hit singles "Legs" and "Sharped Dress Man." The album went on to sell 10 million units, reaching diamond status and the 25 million records they've sold in the U.S. makes them one of the top 100 selling artists in the country. ZZ Top has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, and they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004.

ZZ Top Background

ZZ Top formed in 1969 in Houston Texas with guitarist and lead vocalist Billy Gibbon, organist Lanier Greig and drummer Dan Mitchell. The name of the band came from Gibbons combining the names of B.B. King and Z.Z. Hill, when he noticed that many artists used their initials as their band's name. When ZZ King seemed too close to the originals he changed it to ZZ Top. The current lineup of the band consists of bassist and lead vocalist Dusty Hill, Billy Gibbon and drummer Frank Beard. ZZ Top's signature sound can best be described as blues-infused rock with elements of punk rock and new wave added through their use synthesizers. While Eliminator was the band's most successful album with 10 million albums sold, 1985's Afterburner was their highest charting album. All the singles from Afterburner were Top 40 hits and the album itself went on to sell five million copies. Other Top 40 singles include 1975's "Tush," 1977's "I Thank You," and 1981's "Gimme All Your Lovin'"Follow ZZ Top on social media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Facebook.

  • Underwhelming audience

by Fan on 10/12/25MGM Northfield Park - Center Stage - NorthfieldRating: 1 out of 5

Love ZZ Top. 5 stars for band, 1 star for audience. Probably 5th time seeing them. Band is always fantastic. However, the crowd was unenthusiastic and underwhelming. Very disappointing. I was embarrassed for Cleveland. If MGM holds 3,500 then 3,475 sat on their hands and politely golf clapped at the end of each great and well played song. You could hear a pin drop between songs. Awkward. I've never seen anything like it.

the Tennessee Theater is the best venue in the area for concerts and zz top still rocks on after all these years. My son and I really enjoyed the event.

by Vickieschance on 10/10/25Tennessee Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 4 out of 5

The Band was great, and the Theater was beautiful . But I think the tickets were high priced for the fact that people stood in front of us and not o ly could I not see But the people behind me. So much of the show was only listed to ..so maybe they can ome up with an idea to address that.I have been there for other shows without this problem.

  • An unforgettable show

by Highest entertainment and showmanship! on 10/10/25Tennessee Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

This was a surprise for my husband who has had a challenging few years. Did not think he would be enthusiastic about going to a concert. Nevertheless, our seats were supreme. We were a few feet from the stage and boy, What a show!! The guys were dancing and twirling. I think they used five different guitars during the show. Their jackets were a menagerie of rhinestone and colorful fabric that glowed with every move. Encouraged us to sing along and played many of their top hits. It was really a joyful blast brought tears to my eyes as we all are aging, but to have these memories in our hearts will last a lifetime. Thank you for the joy, even my husband stood and danced. ❤️

by chas on 9/30/25Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom - Hampton BeachRating: 4 out of 5

I had never seen ZZ Top. They were amazing and what I expected. I got to see the classic rock I have grown up with most of my life and....in a small venue. my third party tickets were steep but worth it. Hope to see them again sometime.

  • Good for age but short concert!

by Notafan on 9/30/25Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom - Hampton BeachRating: 3 out of 5

These guys are good for their age. Great guitar skills and costumes ofc. However the concert was real short. Shortest concert I’ve ever been to. They missed some of their most popular songs! And tickets were very expensive! I did expect a little more.

  • Short

by Kaptnkman on 9/27/25The Palace Theatre Albany - AlbanyRating: 3 out of 5

Gibbons and company came onstage at 9 and exited at 10. Then came out for an encore of 15 minutes. Lights came up at 10:15. One hour 15 minutes was ridiculously short.

  • Great concert

by Becky on 9/27/25The Wind Creek Event Center - BethlehemRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was great. The venue was disappointing with my seats and the temperature.

  • Distortion level Acustics

by KJ on 9/27/25Visions Veterans Memorial Arena - BinghamtonRating: 2 out of 5

Concert would have been much better if the sound levels were not played damn near distortion levels. The sound levels drowned out both the lead singer of the Sedonos and ZZ Top. I would never attend another concert. Totally UN enjoyably.

  • ZZ Top Rocks !!

by Harpy on 9/26/25Visions Veterans Memorial Arena - BinghamtonRating: 5 out of 5

Great experience. Opening group was blah and could have stayed backstage. Everything after that was amazing and had a great time with my wife, sister and bother in law.
