ZZ Top Concert Schedule

ZZ Top is a legendary American rock band known for their blues-infused rock music, bawdy lyrics and long, red beards. ZZ Top tours include the 2017 Tonnage Tour, 2016 Hell Raisers Tour, and the 2013 La Futura Tour. ZZ Top live shows leave the audience laughing dancing and feeling like they are at a jam session with close friends, instead of a concert headlined by rock and roll legends. Their massive success has allowed all of their albums to reach gold or platinum status. The band's best selling album is 1983's Eliminator, which spawned the hit singles "Legs" and "Sharped Dress Man." The album went on to sell 10 million units, reaching diamond status and the 25 million records they've sold in the U.S. makes them one of the top 100 selling artists in the country. ZZ Top has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, and they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004.

ZZ Top Background

ZZ Top formed in 1969 in Houston Texas with guitarist and lead vocalist Billy Gibbon, organist Lanier Greig and drummer Dan Mitchell. The name of the band came from Gibbons combining the names of B.B. King and Z.Z. Hill, when he noticed that many artists used their initials as their band's name. When ZZ King seemed too close to the originals he changed it to ZZ Top. The current lineup of the band consists of bassist and lead vocalist Dusty Hill, Billy Gibbon and drummer Frank Beard. ZZ Top's signature sound can best be described as blues-infused rock with elements of punk rock and new wave added through their use synthesizers. While Eliminator was the band's most successful album with 10 million albums sold, 1985's Afterburner was their highest charting album. All the singles from Afterburner were Top 40 hits and the album itself went on to sell five million copies. Other Top 40 singles include 1975's "Tush," 1977's "I Thank You," and 1981's "Gimme All Your Lovin'"Follow ZZ Top on social media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Facebook.

ZZ Top is getting old so if they are in your town then it is worth going to the show. BTW: ticketmaster is truly a monopoly that should be broken up.

  • Good concert

by DocPerk on 3/25/25Bell Auditorium - AugustaRating: 4 out of 5

ZZ Top always puts on a great show, this was no exception. Lacking was the supposed being met by personnel to escort me to receive premium ticket items. Didn't happen and had to wander around to find the merchandise table where I received half of the premium ticket items paid for.

Great show and pretty good venue. Billy Gibbons put on quite a performance and the opening act, McKinley James, was really good.

They still put on a great show. Quick set but they played all of the great songs that you remember. Mckindley James was the opener and was really good as well. Go see them while they are still touring.

  • needs updating badly!

by AAEMHLT on 3/24/25Crown Theatre - FayettevilleRating: 3 out of 5

The only review I can give is about the seating, as I did not partake in any food or drinks at this venue. The seats need to be updated badly. I saw seats with chunks of padding missing from the chair. The person I went with, said they could feel a spring through their seat. I also saw some seats that were blocked off, because they were unusable. The seats were of adequate size. Going through security was a breeze, unlike other venues I have been to. PLEASE update the seating here. It would be nice if/when they do finally update them, that they aren't nasty metal or plastic seats that are so uncomfortable. A cushy seat like the current ones once were, would be nice.

  • Great Concert venue a little weak

    by L2 on 3/24/25Crown Theatre - FayettevilleRating: 4 out of 5

ZZTop was awesome! The theater in Fayetteville is at least 30 years old. I have a 36 year old son in a wheelchair and the areas for handicapped seats, do not work. That being said, the staff was fantastic and made exceptions and allowed my son to sit down near the front in an alcove, though he was unable to sit with us. My understanding is that they will be building a new theater in the next few years just know that if you’re going to a concert small seats Old surroundings that being said, the music was great. The staff was wonderful and we had a blast.

  • Billy Gibbons was good

by Marc on 3/24/25Crown Theatre - FayettevilleRating: 2 out of 5

The venue’s seats were horrible. Not the location of the seats, but the seats themselves are tighter than an airline seat. Not a lot of cushion and not comfortable at all. Soundsystem for the venue was not up to other arenas or theaters. Billy Gibbons was good., The bass player that replaced Dusty Hill was good, Frank Beard did not play, and his replacement was OK. Seen them three other times, this was the worst out of all of them, but Billy was still good.

  • Get your tickets and go

They did not disappoint! It was an awesome show. If you haven't bought your tickets yet, GET THEM AND GO

  • ZZ Top... 56 years and still rocking

by Rory on 3/24/25Crown Theatre - FayettevilleRating: 5 out of 5

Recently saw ZZ Top in Fayetteville, NC. I know, I know... with the passing of Dusty Hill and with Frank Beard coming down with an illness last week, it was basically just Billy Gibbons. But Elwood Francis was Dusty's handpicked replacement. And the fellow who played drums that night has painted and tuned Frank's drum kit for years. But boy, did they out on a show or what? From the opening number to the encore, they rocked that stage and the fans just had a blast. We were clapping and singing along, dancing in the aisles... They haven't lost a step in 5 decades! It's a no-brainer... go see ZZ. You'll only regret not going!!

by TheresaZ on 3/24/25Crown Theatre - FayettevilleRating: 5 out of 5

I'm so thankful I was able to see Billy Gibbons perform. They put on a great show. The guitar playing was some of the best I've ever seen. His vocals were great, too. I don't think he gets enough credit for his guitar playing skills.
