  • Young the Giant was great, Walk the Moon was amazi

    by LlamaTwin1 on 2/26/12Madison Theater - CovingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Young the Giant was great, Walk the Moon was amazing! The local band upstaged the main act. With the fun, face paint and the crowd singing along to every word, the home act stole the show. Young the Giant was great and had a flashy light show. Totally expect Walk the Moon to be headlining shows within the year once their new album is released.

  • Walk the Moon and Young the Giant were fantastic!

both bands were fantastic, great sound, great lights. The only problem was that the theater was a little crowded. overall rad, though.

Young the Giant put on a great concert! It was unforgettable! Walk the Moon and Young the Giant had so much energy when they went on stage! Sameer's voice is incredible and he's so cool! I'm so glad I went! I would go again! This was my birthday present! I was so lucky that I could get a spot write next to the stage! It was AWESOME!!!!!!!

  • AMAZZING!

by AtotalYTGfan on 10/6/11Bluebird Theater - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

It was super small and really intimate I was about 2-3 feet from the stage, right under the microphone. I loved that aspect of it. Their opening act was 28 North, they were pretty good. As soon as YtG came out though, I lost my mind- complete and total fangirl mode. It was slightly embarrassing but I have no shame haha. Anyway, they played amazing songs and it was heaven and I want that feeling every moment of my lifetime. You know that feeling I mean, when you’ve heard a song before, hundreds of times but it suddenly has new meaning. You can feel the emotions of it like never before and it’s all brand new. Every song, i felt that way with every song. Sameer, Jacob, Francois, Eric, and Payam they made their music come alive.

Samir was awesome. 28 North was a great opener. Wish I could see Young the Giant live every night!

  • Young the Giant= Best Live Band Ever

    by Cassie9473737939 on 10/5/11Bluebird Theater - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

This was probably the best concert I've been to ever! Young the Giant was so amazing! If you haven't seen them live yet.... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!?! It was so much fun from beginning to end. Their stage presence was unbelieveable and they really know how to engage the audience. GO! GO! GO!

  • Play MORE

by aruthablue on 10/5/11Bluebird Theater - DenverRating: 4 out of 5

Opening band not quite what I expected as they had more of a Southern Rock vibe ala 38 special...decent set. Sound board needed to bring down the feedback. Young the Giant rocked!! great enthusiasm from all, excellent and variety of guitar techniques in use...only complaint they didn't play long enough!!

  • Young the Giant is blowing up!

by Extrombonist on 10/5/11Bluebird Theater - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

Watching these guys I could not help but be reminded of watching Bruce Springsteen and his band at a similarly sized venue in 1976, shortly before they became a well known phenomenon. Really tight, really good! While there were probably a 1000 or so very enthusiastic people in the theatre, the band reminded the audience that they had played the same venue only 18 months ago in front of 40 or so folks so momentum is building. It has been a year now since they put out their first CD and I hope they will be hitting the market soon with new music. Probably the one disappointment was that they only played one song that was not on their lone cd. The ticket for this show was $16 and I could not help but think what a steal that was! If you get a chance to see these guys live jump on it.

  • Young the Giant rocked!

    by Denver2008 on 10/5/11Bluebird Theater - DenverRating: 4 out of 5

What an incredible show! The band sounded as good as their album which nowadays, is pretty hard to accomlish. Their sound really works for smaller venues so I enjoyed the fact that they played at the Bluebird. Looking forward to seeing them again in the future!

  • Young the Giant is way too sick...

Unbelievable performance with immaculate musicianship. Being a musician myself, I was thoroughly impressed and will see them the next time they come here!

  • Young the Giant rocked the house!!

My daughter and I watched the MTV Music Awards and LOVED the performance by Young the Giant. That was our first time hearing of them and we were smitten. I'm not one to jump up and buy concert tickets but I ran to the computer and looked up their tour schedule because we loved their music! After seeing them perform at The Bluebird in Denver, we are hooked! By far the best show I've seen in YEARS! We were in the very front of the stage, and had a blast! Sameer is truly amazing -- I've never seen anybody perform with such positive energy and passion! It was so infectious! The entire group is extremely talented and seem really connected with each other. We feel very fortunate to have seen these guys and will definitely go see them again if/when they come back to Denver! Loved, loved, loved them!!!

The show was unreal. Best show ever! 28 North, the band that opened was just as incredible!

  • Most amazing energy

    by EGarcia1 on 10/5/11Bluebird Theater - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

YTG was amazing. I took a friend for her birthday and we both determined it was one of the best concerts we've ever been to. The opening act, 28 North... great. YTG... even better! The put on a great performance and got the crowd going like no other band I've seen. Their talent surpasses any group out there!

  • Absolutly Awesome

the Band the venue, everything was unbelievable. I read on here from someone else Post that the band is better live then on CD and I have to agree. they played the entire time they were allowed on stage and did an amazing concert. I would see them again if there were anywhere around NYC, NJ or CT.

The openers were horrible...they hurt my ears and I couldn't WAIT till they got off. One opener would've been better...for a headliner to go on at like 11pm on a thursday night is not fun. Young the Giant put on a good performance, however the lights during the first song were blinding and really painful to look at.

Young the Giant blew me away. Their music is even better live and the energy of the band and the Music Hall was excellent! I want more!
