One of the most passionate bands I've seen preform. Sameer (lead singer) crowd surfed and gave mic to crowd (me included) and let them sing, "My Body". NO BIG DEAL. Also, after the show they came out for pictures/signing. So basically it was awful. :p

Young the Giant = Fantastic
by MichelineNYC on 4/17/11Music Hall of Williamsburg - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5great venue, amazing live performance and despite the fact that it was sold out it was a lovely experience. love the venue, love the band. nice work.
Young the Giant=Amazing!!!!
by RyanGuti on 4/17/11Music Hall of Williamsburg - BrooklynRating: 5 out of 5From the opening acts to the main show, this concert rocked!! Young the Giant is an amazing album but to see them live was one of my favorite musical experiences, ever! They really know how to put on a show! And lead singer Sameer set the tone with his crowd surfing! The only complaint anyone had was that they didn't come back out for an encore!!
Great Live Sound
by Wubbawoo on 4/16/11Music Hall of Williamsburg - BrooklynRating: 4 out of 5The guys put on a lively show. Their sound live was great and the lead singer has great energy...ai can't believe this group isn't more popular. The only disappointment I had was that they chose not to do an encore. I think that 's the first concert I ever attended where a group rocked the house and then ran off the stage! But that said, I would see them again...
YTG
by Giadzi on 4/16/11Music Hall of Williamsburg - BrooklynRating: 4 out of 5SRO. Good venue (nice and small) but voice acoustics could be better. YTG was awesome but wished they did an encore - everybody booked after the set so I think they didn't get enough of a response to come back out. Would love to see them in an acoustically better venue.
I Love Them!
by Renee325 on 4/14/11The Record Bar - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5They were on time, performed hits from the debut album, and invited EVERYONE on stage for My Body, which rocked the house. After the show, the lead singer talked to people, shook hands, and took pictures. He sincerely thanked me for flying out from ATL to see them. So sweet! The music is great, they have awesome energy, and are still so down to earth!
Greatness!
by JohnMcD on 4/14/11The Record Bar - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5Absolutely amazing! Sound great live no matter what the venue!
listening bliss IS Young the Giant
by Nicmaurb on 4/12/11Water Street Music Hall - RochesterRating: 5 out of 5Young the Giant at Water Street last Friday was my 6th show of theirs on their current tour. So, you can believe me when I say that these guys never disappoint. Their presence on stage and their music is really a treasure.

I found meaning in their melody. Good performance as well.
Good Show
by CWyble on 3/27/11Orpheum - TampaRating: 4 out of 5I had only heard one song from the band before, but they were pretty darn good in concert, much better than I expected. The venue was also one of those hole-in-the-wall places; that may or may not be your forte, but I think it can be even more fun to see a show at those kind of places. The opening groups were ok, but I felt like there was a pretty wide gap in ability and quality between them and the main band. Kitten's lead singer is underage and wore a dress that tended to open a bit at her breasts when she jumped around on stage (which she did WAY too much). She also made a disparaging remark about Bob Evans, one of my favorite restaurants, so I found her group somewhat of a turnoff from that point on.:p
AWESOME
by HadleyPaige on 3/27/11Orpheum - TampaRating: 5 out of 5Excellent show. Go see them if you get a chance. Their music and presence was unforgettable. The first opening band (Yellow Capello) was pretty terrible, but the second band (KITTEN) was excellent.
AMAZING
by Anonymous on 3/4/11Roxy Theatre - West HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5One of the best shows I have ever been to! I was just disappointed when they were finished playing.
Young the Giant was incredible!
by Allisontiago on 3/4/11Roxy Theatre - West HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5I would see this band again and again and AGAIN! Amazing concert!
Young the Giant = Phenomenal
by Melendrez on 3/1/11Roxy Theatre - West HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5I have been to a ton of shows and Young the Giant is definitely ranked high on my list of fantastic artists. All of the band members had such great energy. Sameer-the lead singer- has an amazing voice live! The Roxy was definitely my favorite venue I have been to so far. It was small and intimate. I loved everything about the Roxy and Young the Giant.

Exciting band playing great music. Very energetic stage presence. Fortunate to see them at a smaller venue like the Roxy because next time they come through, it won't be that small.
YOUNG THE GIANT=EUPHORIA
by Binzer on 2/28/11Roxy Theatre - West HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5The concert made my weekend! All the band members were totally into their music and their passion was oozing from the stage. The lead singer's voice is to die for. The opening bands: Kitten & We Barbarians were just as great! These are all a must see if they are in your town.
SO MUCH HEAVIER LIVE
by LucSchutz on 2/28/11Roxy Theatre - West HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5The show was sick. Found these guys on Daytrotter (you should check it out i you don't know what it is), and i liked it so i bought the album. In all honesty, I like the Daytrotter versions of the songs better than the album version because it captures the way they sound live, which is incredible. This band is really passionate about what they are doing.
Young The Giant is AMAZING live!
by klaheth on 2/28/11Roxy Theatre - West HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5This is one of the best shows I've been to! Long time YTG fan, this was my first time seeing them live and they did not disappoint! One of the best sets! Opener We Barbarians was great, saw them open for Cold War Kids in Visalia, CA at The Cellar Door.
Amazing Acts, annoying photographers
by Synatribe on 2/28/11Roxy Theatre - West HollywoodRating: 5 out of 5Kitten, We Barbarians and Young the Giant did an amazing job at the Roxy. I loved the dynamics of each band. Kitten stood out with their female vocalist and the performance was very powerful. We Barbarians got the crowd going and although initially I was indifferent about the band, they grew on me. Finally, let's not forget Young the Giant, the headliners. Their stage presence was amazing as always. This is my third time seeing them live and I can tell they matured after every performance. I knew them since The Jakes and since then I knew they were going to be big after listening to their first self titled CD that my friend got for free after watching a Metro Station concert. Ever since then I have been to every album release. Whether it was Shake My Hand at Chain Reaction or Young the Giant self titled at the Roxy. It was truly amazing seeing people knowing all the lyrics. Keep up the powerful, inspirational performances. On the contrary, I was extremely annoyed by the photographers. This isnt the first time I went to a concert with roaming photography, but this one female photographer decided to push everyone to the back and stand in the way front. This was bearable until she started taking photos every 2 seconds with 2 different sets of cameras. It was extremely distracting let alone the fact that she kept backing up while everyone was trying to have a good time. Her photography better be damn good. I probably was not the only one who would have like to slap the cameras out of her hands.
