Young the Giant and WALK THE MOON
by Jottt on 2/27/12Newport Music Hall - ColumbusRating: 3 out of 5Young the Giant was good enough. Really stupid lighting behind them made it impossible to see anything. However, Walk the Moon was amazing. Great vocals and guitar. Really tight and good rapport with audience. Can't wait for their first album!!!
All Around Great Show!
by Dhessler5 on 2/27/12Newport Music Hall - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5I bought tickets to this show months ago because I knew right away that I wanted to see both Walk The Moon and Young the Giant again. I saw them both previously at Lolla and loved it and wanted to see them again in a smaller venue. It was great! Both bands killed it playing crowd favorites, new songs, and some surprising yet fun covers. I would definitely see both of these bands again.
Young the Giant
by Anonymous on 2/27/12Newport Music Hall - ColumbusRating: 4 out of 5The energy was fantastic and the light work was amazing!
Young the Giant: Even better live!
by Indiemusicgirl on 2/27/12Newport Music Hall - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5This show was sold out but amazing! It was nice to be second row but they were such great performers that it would have been fantastic even in the back. Walk the Moon opened and set a great, energetic tone. There was no backdrop, Sameer's range in conjunction with the other guys' music was plenty (but the lighting was pretty cool).
BEST SHOW EVER
by Anonymous on 2/27/12Newport Music Hall - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5This is the second time I've seen Young the Giant Live, and I would definitely go a third time! Even a fourth, fifth, and sixth if I had the opportunity!! Walk the Moon was beyond amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Could not have been better....
by JennieK on 2/27/12Newport Music Hall - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5The venue was fantastic, the opening act (Walk the Moon) was incredibly good and I could never say enough about Young the Giant. Already can't wait to see them again.
Amazingly Average
by YoGabba on 2/27/12Madison Theater - CovingtonRating: 3 out of 5Great sound but that was it. It just felt like band practice to me, no real energy or connection with the crowd. I will buy their next album, but I probably won't be going to see these guys live again. I will be going to see the opening act Walk the Moon again though. They were a nice surprise, and definately out-played young the giant.
Young the Giant
by ChipDouglas on 2/27/12Newport Music Hall - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5Young the Giant rocked a sold out Newport. This was the 2nd time I saw them & they just keep getting better!
Walk the moon and Young the Giant
by bellalaghostly on 2/26/12Madison Theater - CovingtonRating: 5 out of 5Great show even though there was little room to breath. Both bands were excellent, however I think Walk the Moon stole the show!
Could listen to Sameer all night.
by SAB2128 on 2/26/12Madison Theater - CovingtonRating: 4 out of 5Young the Giant's smooth Southern California sound was a welcome antidote to the snowy Covington weather last Friday. Sameer Gadhia's mellifluous vocals lifted the sometimes pedestrian set to a higher plane. YTG had a tough act to follow in Walk the Moon, a home-grown favorite, who presented an energetic, crowd-pleasing opening mix of their older and a substantial amount of newer unreleased music.
Young the Giant was amazing!
by knzanne on 2/26/12Madison Theater - CovingtonRating: 5 out of 5That was a powerful concert to go to. The opening band, Walk the Moon, was very good, they really got the crowd going with their great beats, powerful drumming and smashing vocals. Young the Giant was amazing to watch, the lead singer Sameer is just one of the most magnificent performers, mainly because of how passionate he is about the music. You can really tell how into it he gets when he sings. They are just stupendous!

This show. Wow. SOOOO AMAZING! I've been to a lot of shows, and these guys definitely put on one of the best sets I've ever seen! They're gorgeous, talented and awesome. I can't even put into words how amazing they are... just go see them!

Young the Giant
by TRaisor on 2/26/12Madison Theater - CovingtonRating: 4 out of 5Enjoyed the show immensly! Opening act, Walk the Moon was surprsingly good. Definetly a bit skeptical as I recently discovered YtG over the past year but they were excellent live.
Excellent show.
by MitNagrom on 2/26/12Madison Theater - CovingtonRating: 4 out of 5Great performance by a very tight band. I had medium expectations and was Pleasantly surprised. I will definitely see them again. They don't have a lot of material, so the set was short as was the encore.

Such a wonderful live performance. Amazing musicians!!!
Young the Giant puts on a great show!
by NefritisAxia on 2/26/12Madison Theater - CovingtonRating: 5 out of 5They're a groovy band that plays their music live just like it sounds recorded. The light show was to die for and their sound will keep you swaying. Walk the Moon put on a super fun show and if you see them don't forget your face paint. Overall the show was absolutely fantastic.
Nothing could be better than Walk the Moon and You
by Ariya on 2/26/12Madison Theater - CovingtonRating: 5 out of 5An amazing show! They actually sounded better live than they do recorded. This goes for both bands. Bass player for Walk the Moon rocks!!!!
