  • Best concert I've ever been to.

by SameerShouldMarryMe on 4/24/12The National - RichmondRating: 5 out of 5

The greatest concert I've ever been to, hands down. They music was absolutely breathtaking, and the band was so personable and hipster and adorable. Apache Relay KILLED it. I can totally see them making it big :) I so recommend seeing Young the Giant if you have good taste in music ;)

  • Great sound

by Iamannina on 4/24/12STAGE AE - PittsburghRating: 4 out of 5

They are a great band that sound awesome live. Not dissappointed at all. Played their own version of "Remix to Ingition" which was tons of fun! Also put in a few of their new songs. Very good show with lots of energy and a great sound.

  • Good show!

I heard Young the Giant on the radio several months ago, and instantly liked them! When I saw they were coming to The National, I was very excited to see them. I hadn't heard of The Apache Relay before, but I enjoyed them as well. Lots of energy!

  • Literally 5 Stars

by YTGandApacheRealyFAN on 4/24/12The National - RichmondRating: 5 out of 5

Where to start? I go to concerts often; probably one a month. This show was one of the best I have been to this year so far! Absolutely unforgettable! Both YTG and Apache Relay had great sound and good vibes were surely flowing. I am a huge fan of both these bands so of course I just enjoyed every second of seeing them live. NOT ONLY was the music top notch but the light show was simply breath taking. The lighting was really quite impressive and made the show even better. Both bands had great energy that clearly was made through the love of their music. Thank you to both Young The Giant and Apache Relay for such a great show. I would recommend anyone who likes these bands to see them live. They are AWESOME.

  • Young The Giant was LEGIT!!

    by Eternalist99 on 4/24/12The National - RichmondRating: 4 out of 5

The set list was Amazing and Young The Giant definitely lived up to all of the hype. I would go see them whenever they come back locally but I prefer to see them somewhere where the sounds sounds a bit better and doesn't echo as much as The National.

  • Young The Giant- Beyond words.

by Sherlie on 4/24/12The National - RichmondRating: 5 out of 5

They are even better live. I would recommend this concert a million times over. I absolutely love them.

  • AAAAHHH!!!!

    by KikiJay81 on 4/24/12The National - RichmondRating: 5 out of 5

They were soooo good live! Both bands were amazing. Had such a great time! I'm always skeptical of opening bands when I'm eager to see the headliner. I loved The Apache Relay as soon as he sang the first note. Young the Giant was insanely great! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

  • Young the Giant was amazing!

    by chicks05 on 4/24/12The National - RichmondRating: 5 out of 5

Best show I have seen in a long time. The National is a smaller, intimate venue and the show was fantastic.

  • great band, great setting

by Anonymous on 4/24/12The National - RichmondRating: 5 out of 5

We saw Young the Giant perform at the National. They were pretty good in concert. Only thing I'd say is for such a chill band the crazy flashing lights were overkill. I really liked the opening band, the Apache Relay. Gonna have to get a few of their songs now too! The National Theater is awesome- easy for parking, easy to find, cool decor inside, bar and bathrooms accessible. What more could you want?

Great performance by both bands. The energy level never dropped in the bands or the audience. Great concert!

  • Great opener and main act

Had a great time at Apache Relay and Young the Giant. Normally, I couldn't care less about the opening act, but Apache Relay were very energetic and had amazing songs. I really enjoyed them. Young the Giant sounded fantastic. They did a great job.

Awesome opening act. Awesome venue. Awesome band and concert!

I've been to a lot of concerts, and this one was the best. SO amazing! Also, I wanna comment on how the singer (Sameer Gadhia) was drinking tea. Usually everyone in the band has a beer in hand and a mic in the other. Being a singer, I cant even express how cool I thought that was. I wish I could see them live every night!!

  • young the giant at stage AE

by dbol on 4/22/12STAGE AE - PittsburghRating: 4 out of 5

Band was really good. Stage AE is nice but the sound is not very good at all. Upstairs sound is better downstairs so we went down and it sounded like it was better upstairs. You can see the stage just about anywhere though

  • Young the Giant, a solid Friday Night

by kohlerjn on 4/22/12STAGE AE - PittsburghRating: 4 out of 5

Stage AE is just such a cool venue. You feel like you're right up there with the band on stage and the sound there is just great. Not obnoxiously loud and the crowd was respectful and a mix of ages.

  • Young the Giant was one of the best!!

by Profesorabux on 4/22/12STAGE AE - PittsburghRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was nice, the mechandizing was not overwhelming, the music was COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY ENGAGING!!

  • Mindblowing

by Anonymous on 4/22/12STAGE AE - PittsburghRating: 5 out of 5

An amazing band with an amazing crowd, with the smell of marijuana looming in the air. A great night indeed doubled by the fact it was April 20th.

  • Can I Get An Encore

    by Kemosi89 on 4/22/12STAGE AE - PittsburghRating: 5 out of 5

Young the Giant is amazing! The show was fantastic from start to finish. I loved the opening band too, Apache Relay, there are a really cool group of guys. Also loved the new YTG material they played. Can't wait for their new album next spring.

INCREDIBLE. Young The Giant were absolutely fantastic. And their opener, Apache Relay, were really great too! I wish the venue would have made the concert outdoors, but oh well. I had an amazing time. :)
