They were phenomenal live! So much energy, they put everything into this show! I cannot wait to see them again!
In all fairness, I was a little distracted by the Pens Flyers game. However, they sounded great and the opener was pretty good too. It was a fun show.
Great, enjoyed both bands, love the venue. Let's get more bands to Pittsburgh!
The show was fantastic! The opening act was lively and in line with similar sound and energy. Young the Giant came out and did a show with new music and their hits and even tdrew in a classic 90's hit that sent the crowd wild. I loved it! Great show!
I love Young the Giant, they were great. Grouplove really suprised me too, I was very satisfied.
The show was very entertaining, i thought Grouplove did a better job than Young the Giant purely based on the amount of enjoy i got from seeing them perform. I've known YTG for about 6 months more, and know their music more, but I still know Grouplove's very well. Beside the fact, I still say that Grouplove was amazing. YTG was amazing-1. But still really good.
Young the Giant and Grouplove was a great show to attend. The music was great and I was introduced to some other their older songs I had never heard as well as new songs that haven't come out yet. I love the performances and energy of the two groups. I really want to buy their cds!
Had I known it was an all ages show I wouldn't have stood on the floor. It was a pretty awesome show anyway!!
I wish Grouplove would have played a longer set but you can only ask for so much from a $10 show.
The band brought the energy; playing a few yet-to-be released songs from their forthcoming LP and crowd faves from the last release. Set design was simple, but really set the mood for the show. A great band to see live!!
Young the giiant was the worst live performance ofany band I have ever seen. I walked out after 3 songsand was not the only one. Grouplove on the other hand was just amazing.
This was a great concert. I would really encourage that anyone who is thinking about going to one of their concerts to buy the tickets already! Honestly they were better live than on their album, which doesn't happen often. Not to mention they played some of their new material which was really good. Take it from someone who's been to their share of concerts they're one of the best bands i've ever seen (Young the Giant). Grouplove was also pretty good and had alot of energy but there definitely was a reason that Young the Giant was the headliner and not the other way around.
Very solid stage presence! Sounds great, just came out and rocked the house!!!
Great show! Guns Out was awesome, Cough Syrup, My Body, all amazing!
Grouplove sounded great, put on a great show. Young the Giant was fine, I just expected more.
Group Love was great. Very good show that lasted for about 45 minutes. Then there was a 45 minute wait for them to set the stage up for Young the Giant. Young the Giant came out and only played for about 30 minutes. Was really short and disappointing.
Young the Giant and Grouplove ROCKED the Midland!! I cannot wait until their next album and to see these guys again :)
This concert was awesome!!! I really loved them. Excellent performers. It was uncomfortably packed, but still fun. The opener, Grouplove was also phenomenal. I don't Always enjoy the opening band, but i snapped ip tickets to this one fast because i love both bands! Both very fun, energetic, and dance-worthy performances!!! Highly recommened and i will see them again the next chance i get!
While this was a Young the Giant concert with Grouplove having the opening slot, it was really more of a twin bill. Yes, YTG is good enough to be a headliner and they did not disappoint. Their set list was consistent, sound quality was excellent, and they have some great material. I can't help but point out that Grouplove was superb. Their energy and crowd engagement are something I haven't seen in years, reminding me of those great B-52's concerts from the early 80's. This band is going somewhere. If you didn't dance, you should see a doctor.
Both acts put on a great exciting performance. They cared about the fans experience and you could tell.
