  • Young the Giant was Fab!

by WackyJ on 7/18/12Central Park Summerstage - Central Park - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

i went there as an over 40 feeling old, but the music, the terrific venue and the overall ambience created a wonderful experience.

It was my first time seeing them live, and it was a great show. They sound even better than their mp3s. Sameer really puts emotion when he sings and it connects with the audience really well. I would recommend this show to anyone.

  • Young the Giant doesn't disappoint!!

by StaciZ on 6/19/12Boulevard Pool at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

Great energy and a great venue, what more can you ask for? Oh yeah and a wicked cover of R. Kelly's "Ignition" to stir things up!

  • Coolest Concert at the Coolest Venue!

by Bugsygal on 6/18/12Boulevard Pool at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

When I first entered the venue, I was stunned. The concert essentially took place in a pool and there was a lot of space. While we got there rather early, we were given free light sticks and were able to find a place to rest our legs while we wait. The opening band, Koko, was very good and a great way to start the evening. However, nothing could top Young the Giant's performance. I've loved their music and listening to their cd but listening to them performing live? So much better!!! There was none of that moshing nonsense and I felt the audience was perfectly mature. The band connected well with the audience and really got us all in the mood for some good music. In addition, the pricing was incredible. I would have easily paid over $60 for this experience...and it was about half that including all the additional charges!!! The only problem was the price of drinks. It was the same price to get two cocktails as it was to get two beers. I was not pleased regarding this but I still had a great time :-)

  • So Chill and Fun

Young the Giant put on a great show. It was so chill at The Cosmopolitan too. Loved it.

  • Impeccable, as usual.

It's my 3rd Young the Giant concert this year and it was awesome. First heard of them while browsing through a free sample CD I got at the 2011 Lollapalooza. "Apartment" sounded fresh and the vocals, powerful. Sameer Gadhia has a very unique voice. If you close your eyes and listen to the band it's easy to imagine a 7 feet tall, 300 lbs giant as the lead singer. Even not being that big at all, he acts and sounds like such. The whole band carries a very personalized style that does not sound like anything else I have ever heard. And I have heard a lot, trust me. It's fun guaranteed.

  • Soulful and pure awesomeness.

by jesslimp123 on 6/15/12Boulevard Pool at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

I had a grand time watching young the giant. Sameer's voice is mesmerizing. The band koko had a cool indie twist wish they had more personsality and connect with the audiance. Loved that young the giant did a cover of r.kelly remix ignition. fun when a genre can cover a different genre and have fun with the audience. sameer was kind enough to take pics with the fans and sign autohraphs. loved them:) come back to vegas.

  • Great venue!

I like Young the Giant, they are a great sounding band. Koko was good also. But seeing the band at the Cosmopolitan was the best part of the experience.

LOVED THE CONCERT THE BAND IS GREAT, VENUE IS PRETTY SWEET ONLY IF THE WEATHER WAS NICER

  • Bad sound at cosmopolitan pool

by thorny6625 on 6/14/12Boulevard Pool at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

This is the 2nd time I've seen young the giant in 4 months. The first was unbelievable! Haven't been so excited by a band in ages. We traveled to Vegas to see this show & it was just ho hum. The biggest complaint was the venue. It's big, plenty of room, but I think the half drained pool & weird overhangs mess up the sound. Depending on where you stood it sounded different, echoey & hollow in many places. So if you get a chance to see Young the Giant , definitely go, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see anyone at the Cosmo pool. One cool thing was that they played the concert on the big marquise so people on the street can see parts of the show & audience.

  • Amazing Night!!

This was my first time seeing Young the Giant in Concert, and I was greatly pleased. The Atmosphere was electric, and the band was on fire! Their vocals and harmonization are beautifully interwoven and I can't wait to catch them again in concert!

They guys are great up and coming band, and now I know they are the real deal. One of the best live shows I've ever seen. Great vocals and amazing energy. The whole crowd was rocking out. Definitely check them out if they come to your town!

  • INCREDIBLE

by pf789 on 6/13/12Boulevard Pool at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

The Cosmo pool is an absolutely gorgeous venue with more than enough space and a full-service bar. The ambiance was perfect for YTG, and their performance was phenomenal, as per usual!

  • The Perfect Concert

by EmRoseRVA on 4/26/12The National - RichmondRating: 5 out of 5

The Apache Relay was the best opener I've ever experienced. They were just as enjoyable as Young the Giant and the sounds were similar. Both bands performed so powerfully and sound SO good live.

  • Young the Giant was incredible!

by Anonymous on 4/25/12STAGE AE - PittsburghRating: 5 out of 5

I first saw Young the Giant perform when they opened for Incubus in Pittsburgh about 9 months ago. I was impressed even then with the energy of the performance and the charisma of the lead singer. After the concert, I downloaded their album. I was so excited to see them on their own tour, and they really brought the house down. The concert was amazing, the band truly knows how to entertain. The two encore songs had the entire venue dancing. Truly one of the most enjoyable concerts I've ever been to. I really hope they come to Pittsburgh again soon!

The concert was really good. Apache Relay was a really good opening band and helped to get the mood set for the main attraction. The music was all fast paced and got the crowd energized, and the lighting was really cool too.

  • Young the Giant is great live!!

    by Foreveryoung1 on 4/25/12The National - RichmondRating: 5 out of 5

This is the second time in a month I saw Young The Giant Live. The first was at the 9:30 club in DC. Both shows were amazingly played. There is a lot of energy from this group, and the music and vocals are spot on! I am suprised their ticket prices arent higher, so for the costs of a movie, you can actually see a great band perform. Cant wait to see them again.

  • Such a great night!

These guys are so down to earth, so good at what they do in every way. I am planning to watch them again in a months time. They are amazing.
