All of the bands were really good. I was expecting bad opening acts, but they were both enjoyable. Young the Giant was amazing, they could sing all of their songs, and i loved it.

Amazing, Amazing, and Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great time with Young the Giant.
by Landarchstef on 7/19/12Central Park Summerstage - Central Park - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5It was a smaller venue than I anticipated, but that made the show better. What can I say? They sounded just like they do on the album and had great energy. I would definitely see them again in the future.

Great show
by knarlydude on 7/18/12Central Park Summerstage - Central Park - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5Please do yourself a favor and go see Young the Giant. They know how to keep a crowd entertained, and I've become a much bigger fan of theirs since going. They sound fantastic live and put on a great show. St. Lucia and The Apache Relay opened for them and were great as well! Had an awesome time and will see any of these three bands again.
Young the Giant was amazing!
by AllieeeeeeeeeK on 7/18/12Central Park Summerstage - Central Park - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5Young the Giant is truly a talented group. Their live performance could not have been better! It was a day I will never forget and therefore I am longing to attend another concert of theirs!

Wonderful show! The opening acts were very good and I got to meet one of the bands after. The only thing is it was physically deteriorating due to the excessive heat. I know its part of the experience and they can't do much, but misters or less expensive waters would have been nice.
Awesome

Young the Giant gave a great show as always! The opening bands, St. Lucia and The Apache Relay, were excellent choices to open for them. They fit very well with the feel of the music we came to hear with YTG. YTG was so much fun; they love a good crowd! The venue was small and easy to navigate. The food/drinks were never crowded and it was so nice to have bleachers to sit on where we could see the band perfectly and not have to stand in the sweaty mob of people around the stage.

i love young the giant and i love central park summerstage but i would have preferred to see them in a smaller venue. also the summerstage website posted the wrong gate time so we missed the opening band.

You can't beat these guys
by SukiS on 7/18/12Central Park Summerstage - Central Park - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5It was lots of 20 and 30 somethings but families too. Great breeze in the trees, mellow SoCal music and Sameer rocking his two mikes.

One of the best concerts I have been to, hands down. Young the Giant is amazing as it is, but live it is a whole new level. I would pay to see them again and again.

They didn't BRING IT. The sound wasn't loud enough. And the band should not have opened with a slow song. I had high hopes for this concert. The best song, was the last song, My Body.
