Critically acclaimed and multi-platinum band Young the Giant returns with their brand new single "Wake Up". The song marks the first glimpse into the group's imminent fifth studio release, American Bollywood. The new material will be released throughout 2022 as a series of four acts titled: Origins, Exile, Battle and Denouement. "Wake Up" is the band's return from the 2018 album Mirror Master which included their single "Superposition" which reached #1 on US Alternative Charts. Young The Giant was established in 2004 and is comprised of Sameer Gadhia (vocals), Jacob Tilley (guitar), Eric Cannata (guitar), Francois Comtois (drums) and Payam Doostzadeh (bass). The band first broke through with their 2010 self-titled debut album, which featured the RIAA-Multi platinum certified hits, "My Body" and "Cough Syrup". This was followed by the release of 2014's Mind Over Matter, which was both a commercial and critical success. Young the Giant continued to brave new themes and sonic landscapes with their wildly adventurous third album, Home of the Strange. The New York Times proclaimed Lead Singer Sameer Gadhia, "one of the great contemporary rock voices." The band has sold out performances at historic venues such as Radio City Music Hall, The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, The Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, and more. They have become a festival mainstay at high profile outings such as Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, and Governor's Ball among others.
Great show! Beautiful set and good song choices ranging from different albums. I wished they would’ve engaged with the audience more between songs
The show was great! Not only did they sound great but they made sure to add perfect details with props/lighting and even a disco ball.
We got to see Young the Giant for the second time now and they just keep getting better and better!!! The whole theater was having a party together it was such a vibe! See then again tomorrow if we could!
Favorite band since high school, great large venue, easy to find seats etc
Young The Giant always puts on an amazing show. This one was not only fun to dance to, but it was inspiring. They inspire people to be kind and support each other through music and it doesn’t get better than that.
I’ve listened to all of “Young’s” hits, but now I’m streaming everything I can find! Terrific, energetic show with a much needed ethnically unique sound; loved my night spent with Young the Giant!!❤️
Didn't stay for the full show. I only went to see Milky Chance, who put on an absolute killer performance that night. I left as soon as they were done.
The vocals of the lead singer over powered the entire band. The random stories shown during the concert appeared to be a cry for creativity beyond their talent, it was nonsense. I was disappointed and have never wanted to leave a concert as bad as this one. Milky Chance rocked it, Young the Giant was below average!
If this band were a cult, I'd give YTG my social security number and the blood of my first child...lol It was one of the best shows I've seen as far as keeping the crowd engaged and entertained. They played a perfect combo of old and new songs. #Youngthegiant!!!!!
YTG did an outstanding job with their show and performance! Everyone was incredible! Especially MILKY CHANCE! They are the best of the best! My husband and I absolutely loved the show! Can’t wait to see Milky Chance again!
AMAZING SHOW!!!!! Would see both artists in a heartbeat!! Sounded fabulous, and such a vibe!!
First time seeing both Milky Chance and Young the Giant. Both were energetic and sound much like they appear on their albums. Clean vocals, beautiful sound. Lots of dancing, even for the people in the balconies.
One of my favorite bands of all time, what a freaking show. I smiled from start to finish. Can’t wait til they come back! AMAZING
Young the Giant was a good performer. I enjoyed their set and the lights really went well with their music. I only knew a few songs by them but I’ll be adding more to my playlist from them. Love the singer’s voice. TBH, I only went to their concert because they were featuring Milky Chance but I would see them again.
I had the best time! milky chance and young the giant are definitely an amazing combo of energy!!!
Young was super good but milky is just very hard to beat. Wish they played a lot longer
I fell for Milky Chance at Colorado. Song after song motivated me to see them live. Saltair is a magical location. I made like friends, danced, watched the sunset and lightning storm in the horizon while listening to my favorite band. Unforgettable.
One of the best concerts I have ever been to. Both Milky Chance and Young the Giant were amazing! Can’t wait for next time!
I love Young the Giant, one of my favorite bands. This is my second time seeing them live, the first time was in SLC in 2019, plus i watched their 10-Year Anniversary Concert broadcast. Once again they were incredible performers and many of their songs sound just as good live if not better. Highly recommend them to anyone, even if you are only familiar with one or two of their songs.
truly one of the best concerts i've ever been to, very personal experience and the band is somehow even better live.
