  • amazing band

by buzz on 8/20/23Rating: 5 out of 5

best of the summer so far, been to bottle rock and three other Greek theater performances this summer. YTG great band with full range of composition, so easy to get into the vibe and ride that from start to finish. The crowd was on que and transfixed, would drop everything to see them again

  • Absolutely amazing!!

by Katie on 8/14/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I can’t get over how phenomenal this show was! I loved it!

  • SO GOOD

by Maddie on 8/14/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Young the Giant was better than expected, not that expectations were low but this concert was more of a nostalgia thing than anything! Now I want to listen to their new music and follow them more closely. They played new songs and classics and they seemed to have fun doing it which always makes for a fantastic performance

  • Parking NIGHTMARE!

by Bigwave wes on 8/14/23Rating: 3 out of 5

Great venue to see a show at. Before the show, parking attendants in orange vest were everywhere directing traffic, and collecting money. After the show was over, so were the parking attendants....... wow. It took 45 minutes to leave the grass parking area of the venue. This is unreal and exceptionally poor management/oversight. I've been to shows all over the states and the world. The parking for this venue was THE worst I've ever experienced.

  • Fantastic show start to finish

by JRu on 8/14/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Three acts at a great outdoor venue. Rosa Linn was a perfect start. She has songwriting chops and is on the rise. Milky Chance cranked it up with their songs that made you move. Young the Giant. Just wow. What a performance. Production was stellar and their music catalogue was well represented in their set and encores. YTG is a must see act.

  • Amazing vibes and performances

by KB on 8/14/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Definitely worth it. The show sold out to an amazing crowd. The band killed it and sounded fantastic performing live. The visuals were stunning and everyone had a fun night.

  • Doesn't disappoint!

by Sandy on 8/14/23Rating: 5 out of 5

A perfect combination, beautiful weather in the PNW and all performers were great. Young the Giant were phenomenal! With their older and new music, it was fantastic!!

  • Underwhelming

by Zoe on 8/13/23Rating: 3 out of 5

The band appeared tired and lacked any showmanship or energy. After the opening band, YTG came off as anti-climactic. I love YTG, but the show was disappointing. Sameer’s voice was fantastic, however. So, that helped. Perhaps they were all very tired from previous shows.

  • Loved it

by emjaybee on 8/13/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I thought I already enjoyed milky chance, after seeing in concert, it's confirmed. I love them

  • Kinda of a bad surprise

by Mariana on 8/13/23Rating: 1 out of 5

Milky Chance was absolutely phenomenal. Great energy - the crowd was singing, dancing, jumping. Unfortunately, Milky Chance only played for 45 min, that is when Young the Giant started. The beginning of the show was a bit boring but it got better towards the end - the show was toooo long to handle. Definetely not worth my money. They should've switched the bands - Milky Chance should be the second one and Yound the Giant should've opened the night

  • Poor venue choice

by Jmewn on 8/13/23Rating: 3 out of 5

UBC Thunderbird arena was way too big for a smaller production like Milky and Young. The sound didn’t hit right, and way too much echo. Venue was a miss. Artists weren’t represented as well as they have been in the past (Milky at commodore in 2021 - 10/10 concert). Way too much empty space at the UBC arena, to the point where you could hear the chairs shake. Production needs to be grand to work in a venue like this.

  • Beautiful set

by MyoT on 8/9/23Rating: 4 out of 5

Great show! Beautiful set and good song choices ranging from different albums. I wished they would’ve engaged with the audience more between songs

  • Amazing

by Nora on 8/8/23Rating: 5 out of 5

The show was great! Not only did they sound great but they made sure to add perfect details with props/lighting and even a disco ball.

  • Transformed to another land

by Lea on 8/8/23Rating: 5 out of 5

We got to see Young the Giant for the second time now and they just keep getting better and better!!! The whole theater was having a party together it was such a vibe! See then again tomorrow if we could!

  • Really good experience

by Yosha on 8/8/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Favorite band since high school, great large venue, easy to find seats etc

  • Memorable

by Katie on 8/8/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Young The Giant always puts on an amazing show. This one was not only fun to dance to, but it was inspiring. They inspire people to be kind and support each other through music and it doesn’t get better than that.

  • Memorable Summer Show

by Joni on 8/8/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I’ve listened to all of “Young’s” hits, but now I’m streaming everything I can find! Terrific, energetic show with a much needed ethnically unique sound; loved my night spent with Young the Giant!!❤️

  • I'm sure they were great

by Aldeezy on 8/8/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Didn't stay for the full show. I only went to see Milky Chance, who put on an absolute killer performance that night. I left as soon as they were done.

  • YTG- Lead singer wants to be 1 man band

by Wish Milky Chance was headliner on 8/8/23Rating: 1 out of 5

The vocals of the lead singer over powered the entire band. The random stories shown during the concert appeared to be a cry for creativity beyond their talent, it was nonsense. I was disappointed and have never wanted to leave a concert as bad as this one. Milky Chance rocked it, Young the Giant was below average!

  • I danced all night

by KelliD on 8/8/23Rating: 5 out of 5

If this band were a cult, I'd give YTG my social security number and the blood of my first child...lol It was one of the best shows I've seen as far as keeping the crowd engaged and entertained. They played a perfect combo of old and new songs. #Youngthegiant!!!!!
