Young The Giant was amazing! That was the first time for me seeing them! ❤️ Their stage presence was fire! Great show! Loved the venue!!!
I am a parent and took my two teens to this event. We had the absolute best time! The venue was clean and nice and the staff working were friendly and professional and genuinely seemed to be enjoying their jobs. I love that! We had fantastic seats which were comfortable and easily to get to. (No climbing over people or crammed stadium seats with no leg room.) The set-up of the Anthem is great and it really makes for a fantastic entertainment experience! We attended the DC⚡️101 Winter 101-derland event and the energy and overall experience made for a very memorable night! This was our first event at the Anthem but I would not hesitate to take my teens again or to let them attend an event there with teen friends. It felt very safe and well managed. The bands were energetic and engaging and they put on a great show! It's a great venue! We can't wait to go back!
Young the Giant is one of my most reliable bands to put on a great performance. You can tell when a band is passionate about what they do. Awesome show!
I wanted to rate this five stars but a message is required so here: bip bop
Smooth security/ticket process entering venue. The Anthem is a great place for a concert. The crowd had fun, and so did I. Meet & greet went well, too. Terrific rock night!
This was a phenomenal concert. Young the Giant never disappoints and this time they played as much as they could and as long as they could for us. They are incredible performers and it was such a pleasure seeing them at the Anthem. Not a bad seat in the house!
Young the Giant, along with Lovejoy, Misterwives, and Weathers, all put on a fun show.
AMAZING!!!!!! this was my first show of theirs and definitely not my last! It was so high energy and I had an absolute blast.
The best band ever, venue was perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better experience
The band has 5 albums and 60+ songs. As a huge fan I am left feeling good but disappointed. They play the same line up every concert which probably appeals to them and the fan base. After 5 times seeing them in concert, Grand Rapids on 11/11/23 will probably be my last.
Not sure how you get The Brother Elsey back on this stage but as soon as the tickets go on sale, you bet I’ll be buying a few. These guys were electric. Not knowing they even existed to asking when they’re going to press their songs for purchase has made me a fan for life. Young the Giant, as always incredible. The small venue made for such an intimate show. Going to both this show and their summer show, I’d take this over the larger venue any day. Energetic and engaging with the crowd wins me over anytime. If they happen to grace this stage again, will go for sure
Amazing musicality from Young the Giant. Sameer has such positive energy that radiates, transforming the entire audience. We came to the show with great appreciation for the depth of their music and the live experience in a smaller venue where we could be so up close and personal took it to another level!
The whole concert was delayed and instead of keeping the original openers, they got another group without really notifying us so I was pretty disappointed. Young the Giant was pretty good though!
Sameer has an amazing voice that brings excitement and wonder to every song. This band is excellent live.
This was my first Young the Giant show, though I have been a fan for years. I was veey impressed with their stage presence and some of the songs off of the new album I had not heard. I will be going to the next convert for sure!
Five stars, as always! I’ve seen YTG 6 or 7 times and each time I’m more in love. It was worth the wait. I feel honored to see Young the Giant each and every time.😊
I bought the tickets to this show to see Milky Chance, the band which was to open for Young The Giant. Due to weather, the show was postponed and Milky Chance was unable to open for them. As my review stated, I walked away from the show on a cloud of love for Young The Giant. It was possibly one of the best musical events I have attended (and I try to see a lot of bands)! I am smitten with Sameer Gahdia as an vocalist, musician, and artist, AND the entire band. I seriously cannot believe was not really aware of this talented, delightful group. I will now follow their every move, and will not miss the opportunity to see them again. Thank you Young The Giant! (I hope you read this review)
I would have rather been in the rain and seen Milky Chance and YTG than be surprised to see another opening band. It was not what I paid for and I was very disappointed.
My family and I had an amazing time. Worth staying up on a Tuesday night. Awesome show!
I grew up listening to YTG & it was my first time seeming them live & they blew my expectations out of the park. It was such a beautiful cosmic , magically experience. Vocals were marvelous , the band just as amazing. I've been to a lot of shows but nothing beats their performance.
