MN World Ballet Swan Lake was amazing!!! Beautiful costumes. Orchestra was superb and the dancing was amazing!!!
Not a big fan of the seating nor did I think the performance was that great. I enjoyed more the live orchestra.
I wouldn’t go again. I expected a classic to be better. The music was too loud and pitchy it was hard to enjoy the performance. Also, concessions were open so we paid $42 for food and were told we couldn’t bring it in after being late to purchase it instead of getting to our seats. Ended up throwing it away because we couldn’t eat it due to the rule. I understand not eating in there by then why have concessions open prior to the show! It was our first real ballet performance and my daughter’s first who is a young ballerina. Horrible rendition of Swan Lake as well.
Excellent organization and amazing show, we enjoyed it and deserves five stars .
The orchestra was spectacular and the dancers were very talented. It was a wonderful experience overall.
Really glad I was able to attend this performance of the Swan Lake! It was not my first time watching this ballet live, but it was definitely wonderful and I am glad that I was able to experience it!
Flawlessly performed, lovely, wonderful sets and costumes, but no sense of the performers being here at our venue. No friendly opener or close. Appeared to be fully Russian cast that would go from venue to venue. It didn't feel connected, but certainly lovely. Long for younger people.
Very bad seat spacing. Could not see the show clearly
Excellent performance, costumes and stage looked beautiful
The entire performance along with the live orchestra was outstanding. I would highly recommend seeing this production, the costumes and scenery with the superb dance routines by the performers is well worth seeing.
My first ballet. Not a fan. Costumes were great but if you don’t know the story very confusing.
I’m in awe! My 1st ballet show and will be engraved in my heart forever. Exquisite performance. The soloist is extraordinary! A must see!
Was absolutely wonderful! Wish we had the live orchestra - that would have made me give it 5 stars.
The orchestra was setup in front of the stage and blocked viewing of the lowest two feet of the stage. In other words, you couldn't see the feet of the dancers from the orchestra section (most expensive seats). What a waste of money!
We saw the World Ballet with a live orchestra at the Genesee Theater in Waukegan, IL. The dancing was spectacular. The production quality was wonderful. The orchestra played and sounded excellent. The theater is just beautiful and had excellent acoustics. All around an excellent experience.
Seen this in Russia many years ago! Great the/now. Love / enjoyed both times ! Thx for bringing the show to Genesee ! 👍👏💕
I am new to the ballet and my boyfriend and I went to see Swan Lake at the Genesee theater! It was absolutely spectacular! I can’t say enough good things about the World Ballet company and the production. The orchestra was phenomenal! I would hope that everyone could see this production because it’s absolutely mesmerizing and beautiful!! The ballet dancers are so talented! Especially the lead White Swan/Black Swan, the Prince, the Jester and Rathbone. We had great seats at the theater and just want to say thank you to the whole production. I was greatly impressed!
We were fortunate to be able to attend this performance in Evansville. The sets were beautiful; the costumes, stunning. The artistry and skill of the cast was beyond expectations. Truly a completely enjoyable performance. Highly recommend!!
The ballet is wonderful, the troupe performed professionally, the costumes are very beautiful, the only thing is that I would like live music to accompany
It was amazing and beautiful. Absolutely loved the ballet. Had a wonderful evening.
