About

WICKED, the Broadway sensation, looks at what happened in the Land of Oz…but from a different angle.  Long before Dorothy arrives, there is another girl, born with emerald-green skin—smart, fiery, misunderstood, and possessing an extraordinary talent. When she meets a bubbly blonde who is exceptionally popular, their initial rivalry turns into the unlikeliest of friendships…until the world decides to call one “good,” and the other one “wicked.”

With a thrilling score that includes the hits “Defying Gravity,” “Popular” and “For Good,” WICKED has been hailed by The New York Times as “the defining musical of the decade.” Time Magazine cheers, “if every musical had the brain, the heart, and the courage of WICKED, Broadway really would be a magical place.”

From the first electrifying note to the final breathtaking moment, WICKED—the untold true story of the Witches of Oz—transfixes audiences with its wildly inventive story. It will send your spirits soaring to heights you’ll never forget.

This was my daughter's and my 4th time seeing Wicked over the past 20 years. The first was when it came out in NYC. Never gets old! This cast was as awesome as the others. Great show!💚

  • Fantastic Performance at a Beautiful Theater

by Smudgecats on 11/21/25Shea's Performing Arts Center - BuffaloRating: 5 out of 5

Stunning! Stars Jessie Davidson (Elpheba) and Zoe Jensen (Glinda) stole the show. Davidson brought great pathos to the role. Good ensemble cast, especially Eileen T’Kaye as.Madame Morrible. Shea’s Buffalo, beautiful 1920s movie palace, is worth the ticket price itself. Arrive early enough to take in the atmosphere.

I always heard of Wicked and never saw the play prior to the movie coming out. But me and my 7 year old were in awe with the colors, the stage, and most definitely the songs(which I learned from glee). Then to see the second act and seeing the story of play out sent me in shock. I really hate I waited till the last night to see it. I would of definitely went back once or twice more. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  • Wickedly great time!

by Witch of the west on 9/26/25BJCC Concert Hall - BirminghamRating: 5 out of 5

The parking, building, entry into building, the people checking tickets, helping to your seat, lobby, and restrooms were all very nice and clean. The staff were so helpful. The only complaint is the souvenir area. It was so crowded, you constantly bumping into people. The line was so long we could not get a souvenir. Wish the bar was smaller and use some of that space to setup a 2nd souvenir stand.

  • Absolutely Breathtaking!!!
