The Irish are coming! The Irish are coming! Northern Irish dance-punk trio Two Door Cinema Club have stormed the urban scene with their fresh indie new-wave sound. Think of them as your ticket to catchy dance music without the guilt.
If you've been to any cool-kid parties with plenty of PBR or watched a Microsoft Outlook commercial you've heard Two Door Cinema Club. The debut single "Something Good Can Work" was originally released in 2009 on a trend-setting compilation from fashion house/record label Maison Kitsunè. If you can't remember it catch it on Youtube (it has nearly 15 million views).
Following in the footsteps of French dance-pop phenomena Phoenix and '80s icon Duran Duran, Two Door Cinema Club recorded their debut 2010 album Tourist History at Eastcote Studios in London. Mixed by Phillip Zdar, his vision was to punch up the beat with rich bass and foot-stomping rhythm. While on tour with Alt-J, Chvrches, Peace and St Lucia, stopping a venues like Fillmore (Philadelphia), their live sets turned into impromptu dance parties, not even the most passive fans couldn't resist the groove.
Their sophomore album Beacon, produced by Jacknife Lee was released in September 2012 and reached No. 17 on the U.S. Billboard 200 with singles" Sleep Alone" and "Sun." Well thought hooks, good beats, and fearless when it comes to having fun, Two Door Cinema Club is going to have many honorary members wanting to join in.

Couldn’t have asked for a better first show @ Pier 17. The venue, Pier 17, was exceptional! Rooftop, great amount of space and amenities. Definitely coming back for more shows here. Two Door Cinema Club KILLED IT as always. Definitely seeing them again! Had such a fun time - best concert experience ever.
I won tickets to this show. I had been wanting to go but didn't get a ticket just yet. I took my dad with me and we really enjoyed it. I would definitely see them again.
Honestly, it was kind of a boring show. I expected them to be very amped and excited, but they just stayed in the same spot on stage, the songs don't have a lot of variety, the lights didn't proved good visuals and they didn't get better as the show went on. I couldn't hear the bass player the whole first song, and at one point it sounded like a shaker was playing, but was not on beat with everyone else. They played all the songs I wanted to hear, but only 1-2 actually seemed to have enery. The crowd didn't seem too into it either.
Amazing concert. 11/10. You’d be a fool not to go. Nough said.
It was a dream to see Two Door Cinema Club in Raleigh! Especially after they had to cancel their U.S. tour last year (or the year before?). Anyway, Red Hat Amphitheater was also an amazing venue, it was my first time there and not even the rain put a damper on the venue or the event. That being said, I agree with others, and took off one star, bc the actual set list and vibe was a little sub-par. I feel like the energy from the band was low and the set list was kind of dated. Two of my favorite songs are Next Year and Changing of the Seasons, and they played them back to back in the middle of the set, so I felt like I could literally just leave after that. I feel like those are 2 of their most popular songs too, so there was no anticipation or excitement waiting for them when they were back to back like that. I was also kind of hoping they’d do like a remix version or something different to make it more exciting to hear them in person. We had great seats, row P, right in the middle, but the vibe was just so mellow. Not a lot of people dancing or singing, but when the band got excited, the crowd got excited. It just didn’t happen very often. I would definitely see them again, I would just hope the energy is higher next time. Their performance at Coachella in 2017 was amazing and super high energy for reference!
One of the best bands ive ever seen live. 10/10 would recommend.
The score was phenomenal! Also, the opening act, Flipturn was VERY good!
Beyond expectations, sound, performance and crowd were spectacular!!
the concert was the most amazing event I’ve been to ever!!! I saw TDCC back in 2013 and didn’t think they’d come back to Florida! But they did!! My heart was so happy and the show was absolutely breathtaking and healed my inner child for sure. I love Two Door Cinema Club and you can tell they really love their fans and love performing. The lights and sounds were so perfect and the crowd was excited the WHOLE duration of the show! The experience I had was priceless honestly! Thank you TDCC for changing my life 🫶🏼❤️
My daughter enjoyed! Sound and lighting were awesome! I had no doubts that TDCC would jam out! Daily’s place is an awesome venue!
it was such a great show! Alex’s voice is incredible live. Amazing band! I’m so happy they came. We never get bands like this down here
this was one of the BEST concert experiences! vocally and instrumentally, they were perfect!! their music is so iconic, please come back to miami!!!!!!!
Such great energy and stage presence, even in this Florida heatwave haha. Danced until we dropped with an hour and a half set that was absolutely worth the drive to Miami :) Thanks for stopping by Two Door Cinema Club <3
Everything was perfect, easy access, different options to drink and eat.
Excellent performance, very good singer and band overall, great indie rock, amazing… bring them again
This is one of those bands that sound even better live than on record. The energy on stage was fantantic and they had the crowd going throughout. Overall fabulous time!!!
Two Door Cinema Club put on such an amazing show- they sounded even better live than on their studio-recorded albums. Their energy was infectious, songs so uplifting and nostalgic, crowd was friendly and great, and the band just sounded so clean. I hope they don't wait another 17 years to come to Miami!
They put on an amazing show in Jacksonville, FL. How the lead singer performed in a full 3 piece suit in the Florida heat and humidity is beyond me, but the music was great, the energy electric, and I loved every minute of it!
Was waiting in the rain for the show. Security said that they were gonna open up the doors early because of the safety concerns only opened for general mission only did ten minutes before show. They made sure to milk their past line program for twenty five bucks a pop. Besides being soaked wet and cold awesome performance, great opening band, great show all around, just b.s. procedure by house of blues.
