About

The Irish are coming! The Irish are coming! Northern Irish dance-punk trio Two Door Cinema Club have stormed the urban scene with their fresh indie new-wave sound. Think of them as your ticket to catchy dance music without the guilt.

If you've been to any cool-kid parties with plenty of PBR or watched a Microsoft Outlook commercial you've heard Two Door Cinema Club. The debut single "Something Good Can Work" was originally released in 2009 on a trend-setting compilation from fashion house/record label Maison Kitsunè. If you can't remember it catch it on Youtube (it has nearly 15 million views).

Following in the footsteps of French dance-pop phenomena Phoenix and '80s icon Duran Duran, Two Door Cinema Club recorded their debut 2010 album Tourist History at Eastcote Studios in London. Mixed by Phillip Zdar, his vision was to  punch up the beat with rich bass and foot-stomping rhythm. While on tour with Alt-J, Chvrches, Peace and St Lucia, stopping a venues like Fillmore (Philadelphia), their live sets turned into impromptu dance parties, not even the most passive fans couldn't resist the groove.

Their sophomore album Beacon, produced by Jacknife Lee was released in September 2012 and reached No. 17 on the U.S. Billboard 200 with  singles" Sleep Alone" and "Sun." Well thought hooks, good beats, and fearless when it comes to having fun, Two Door Cinema Club is going to have many honorary members wanting to join in.

    Came for Broods

by Eaars on 11/23/16Agganis Arena - Boston

I actually went to this show to see Broods, love that band and they played well and sounded good for an arena. We had decent seats so I could see and hear them pretty good. Lacked the energy of the smaller venues but still a great show! This is a nice arena pretty new and clean and well staffed with easy parking arrangements.

Two Door is a must see!!!

by Pebby on 11/22/16The Fillmore Philadelphia - Philadelphia

I love this band that much that I paid extra for VIP seats and it was so worth it. They played an amazing set list that was so full of energy. The Fillmore is a great venue, especially if you get to be upstairs to see the band from below. It was my favorite concert I've been to in a long time and I've been going to see bands for 20 years. Truly a night to remember.

    My Life Was Made

by DancerMegs on 11/22/16The Fillmore Philadelphia - Philadelphia

TDCC has been my favorite band since I was 13, and at 13 I didn't really pay much attention to the lyrics because the sound of the music was perfect and I was always just dancing to it. But seeing them live and now being 20, made me want to cry. Between the lyrics, overall performance, venue and graphics.. It was the absolute shit. Wow. I would see them again and again and again after that x10. Thank you :) From, My Soul.

    Amazing Performance

by saltigrade on 11/22/16Agganis Arena - Boston

Two Door Cinema Club is one of those bands that has an impossible amount of energy on stage. The setlist was amazing, with older songs from Tourist History and Beacon distributed throughout songs from the new record. The only thing about that night is our proximity to Broods and the amount of bass meant that we were walking around for most of their set. It was just uncomfortable and we felt shaken about, even outside of the proper room. No issues with that with TDCC or Magic Man. Overall a very amusing and energetic show. The floor people looked to be having the time of their lives and were dancing in big groups.

Two Door Cinema Club = Great Entertainers!

by Anonymous on 11/21/16Agganis Arena - Boston

I had such a great time at this concert! I started listening to this band in High School and had wanted to see them live for so long. They definitely brought their A game! I also brought a friend with me who did not know the band previously, but she had an amazing time as well. We were both dancing in our spots the ENTIRE concert! Would definitely see them again!

TDCC is the funnest band of all time!

    by MSwanny514 on 11/21/16Agganis Arena - Boston

This was the funnest concert of my life. I've seen Two Door Cinema Club 12 times in the past 5 years and it gets better every time. The Agganis arena turned into a dance party for their entire set. The energy from both the band and the audience turned this into a night that no one will forget.

    FANTASTIC CONCERT

by LoveThisAwesomeBand on 11/21/16Echostage - Washington

I bought these tickets on a whim. I knew a solid 3 or 4 songs, but wow, did I have an excellent time. This concert was buzzing with energy and you could tell everyone there wanted to be there. The set list was great and I discovered so many of their songs that I love. They had a fantastic light show going on that really upped the mood and I could feel the music pulsating through my entire body. Only downside is it was incredibly loud in there (we were standing near the speakers), and my friend and I could barely hear for 30 minutes after. Still, 100% worth it. This is an awesome band and a great concert experience.

    Two Door Cinema Club

by Shmerv on 11/21/16Echostage - Washington

Very tight band, lead singer reminds me of Ian Anderson of Yes. Echo stage is a great venue although too many drunks pushing into the crowd for my tastes. Sound was excellent. Two Door has some great tunes, some poppy, some funky, a very good sound.

They are amazing. My only comment was it was too loud. I go to many concerts and I walked away asking if I am too old.

Two Door Cinema Club was amazing! Guitars sounded especially good that night. I would definitely see them again when they come through. I also found Echostage to be superb in its lighting and accommodation of the crowd.

Two Door Cinema Club and Broods were unbelievable!

    by mpowell95 on 11/20/16Echostage - Washington

First of all, Echostage is a great venue to see an alternative band like Two Door. It was crowded, but because everyone was an avid fan, the energy was infectious and it created an amazing sense of unity. Broods is a talented band with mesmerizing lead vocalist Georgia who's powerful voice and infectious personality had me enchanted from the moment they began their set. I've been a fan of Broods for a few years and this live performance made me an even bigger supporter of their craft. Broods' theme was about being in the moment and forgetting about things to get worked up about. They paired well with Two Door's their catchy upbeat and layered sound. From the beginning of Two Door Cinema club's set, I knew that I've never experienced such an intoxicatingly blissful concert where the band performed every single song brilliantly. Each and every band member mesmerized me with their skillful instrumentation and explosive vocals. I was pleased when they played a lot of their old material like "Something Good Can Work", "Sleep Alone" and "Changing of the Seasons" as well as their new material from Gameshow like "Are We Ready" and "Bad Decisions". I look forward to when Two Door and Broods comes back to DC!

    Song lineup was horrible

by ndustrialhippie on 11/18/16Echostage - Washington

I was so looking forward to seeing these guys and have been following them since I discovered their debut album 6 years ago. Each album has been great in its own right, but the songs from their first have been played so many times that only the great songs really shine. By now, the band should have realized which of their songs are great and which are best left unplayed, but unfortunately TDCC haven't yet. In a show that SHOULD have been devoted to their new album that was very recently released, they led with 4 straight songs from their debut, 2 of which--Do You Want It All and This Is the Life--are so unpopular that there was a noticeable decline in the amount of dancing compared to the other 2 songs. Now their junior album was only released a couple weeks ago, but I have listened to it a couple times and really like it. I may not have the lyrics memorized yet, but I was looking forward to getting to hear those songs live. But instead, I get stuck listening to the same songs I've been hearing for 6 years and only like 2 or 3 recently released songs. What's even worse is that the performance itself was tremendous. The light work and fog were both done very well. The music itself was flawless. But a lot of the visual aspects had horrible songs to go with them. For those people expecting a live performance of Gameshow, you will leave disappointed. Broods on the other hand, a band I'd never listened to but had heard a lot about, gave such a great performance that they have a new fan.

TDCC was amazing live, especially since they dont come to america that much and To Dalla that often, it was my first time seeing them and they honestly were amazing. They made the crowd have this positive vibe and I would be more than happy to be able to see them again!

    TDCC 2016 CONCERT

by Cinderz101 on 10/11/16South Side Ballroom - Dallas

I love TDCC all around, definitely love this venue!! The general admission is what I love about this place. Gives you an opportunity to be close to one of your favorite bands! (I was in front of the stage). They played an amazing show and played all of the many good songs. The crowd could have been more hype but whatever I had an amazing night singing and jumping away so a really good band who's sounds even better live than on cd !
