About

Pioneers of the Red Dirt music scene and one of America's most beloved bands, Turnpike Troubadours has amassed a massive following throughout their renowned career with more than 2.2 billion streams globally and over 1.7 million equivalent units sold. Since their debut in 2005, the band has released seven studio albums, performed countless sold-out headline shows, appeared in Paramount's hit show "Yellowstone" and were inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. Most recently, Turnpike Troubadours added to their historic career with the release of their new surprise album, The Price of Admission, which debuted at #1 on the iTunes all-genre and country charts and earned them their highest Spotify chart debuts to date. The eagerly awaited follow up to their widely acclaimed 2023 album, A Cat in the Rain, The Price of Admission further cements the band as an undeniable force in the music world and led Whiskey Riff to declare "Turnpike Troubadours have continued to prove time and time again that they are the greatest band of all time." Originally from Tahlequah, OK, Turnpike Troubadours is Evan Felker (vocals, guitar), Kyle Nix (fiddle), Ryan Engleman (electric guitar), RC Edwards (bass), Gabe Pearson (drums) and Hank Early (steel, accordion).

  • EPIC

by Gobbler on 6/13/22Westfair Amphitheater - Council BluffsRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been to over 40 concerts and Turnpike put on one of the most fun experiences that I’ve ever had!!! They’ve been a long time favorite band, seeing them live and putting on that kind of a show was one of the best nights of my life! Thank you for a memory that will be replayed every time I listen!

  • Turnpike Troubadors at Westfair

by Hank on 6/13/22Westfair Amphitheater - Council BluffsRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent concert! Great sound! Incredible venue!!

  • Venue sucked

by Westfair is no bueno on 6/13/22Westfair Amphitheater - Council BluffsRating: 2 out of 5

Terrible place to watch shows. If you're up front there is hardly any sound since the speaker arrays are pointed straight out. Two beer vendors took 25-30 minutes in line. Have to walk long way to port-o-let. Turnpike? Uninspired. We did back up to hear them since it was terrible down low. Like stated above. Steve Earle was good, but you couldn't hear what he was saying from up close because of the what was previously stated. Old 97s were the highlight. I'd go see them again, except not here.

  • Great band

by Kylie on 6/13/22Westfair Amphitheater - Council BluffsRating: 3 out of 5

They sounded great, love the band! Wish they would’ve played for longer than an hour and a half. Not sure why when we bought our tickets they were $75 but the day before the concert they were being sold for $5. The venue needed wayyyy more beer tents or something. Stood in line for 45 min. Thankfully the weather was nice.

Would never recommend going to a concert at Westfair ampitheatre

  • Westfair fiasco

by Saunders Cowgirl on 6/13/22Westfair Amphitheater - Council BluffsRating: 1 out of 5

Attendees and bands were great. Venue is beautiful. Organization and preparedness were non-existent particularly when it came to ingress and egress. Traffic was backed up onto the interstate and it took one hour to go 3 miles. Bands should have been delayed starting until ticket holders had a chance to access the venue and/or traffic control should have been addressed to eliminate delays entering. Also, only one entrance and exit into amphitheater - not safe or convenient. Many established gates on west side could have been used for exit only. Will have to think long & hard about ever going back there again.

  • Great concert, Terrible Experience getting In

    by S.L. on 2/28/19Choctaw Grand Theater - DurantRating: 3 out of 5

Vincent Neil Emerson and Athens Turnpike Troubadours were AMAZING. Getting in to see them on the other hand was a nightmare. The service in the building is terrible. We bought 6 tickets and only 4 were able to get pulled up and scanned for entrance. 2 of the 6 of us just said forget it and left. Very disappointing. If you require a mobile entrance maybe have BETTER SERVICE!!

  • Incredible performance coming off NYE disaster

by Thomas Michael Dallas on 2/27/19Choctaw Grand Theater - DurantRating: 5 out of 5

Sober Evan was great tempo was right on and they did several songs off the last two albums. House Fire Long Way From Your Heart and Bird Hunter also Doreen and The Mercury. Of course the classics Goood Lord Lori and Long HotSummers Day. Ryan’s guitar was as lively as ever cool and clean like a cotton sheet. Gabe’s drums kept it all together as usual.

  • Great venue! Great performance!

  • Best Show I’ve Seen From Them!

by LumberjackJen on 2/25/19Choctaw Grand Theater - DurantRating: 5 out of 5

Honestly, there aren’t enough words to describe a Turnpike concert. The music’s good, th beer is cold, and for that time they’re on stage you don’t have a worry in the world.

by Dang80 on 10/25/18Theatre of Living Arts - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Great concert... sound was terrific. Opening act Charlie Crockett was worth the price of admission on his own. Turnpike took it to a whole other level!
