    Criterion

by MH22345 on 2/28/17The Criterion - Oklahoma City

Concert was awesome and venue was great. The only issue was the lines at the bars. They need a great deal more bartenders!!! It took an hour to get a drink.

    Turnpike

by Yoockon on 10/21/16St Augustine Amphitheatre Backyard Stage - St Augustine

These guys deserve a bigger stage and a bigger audience but I LOVED the Backyard stage and the intimacy of the whole thing! And it was only two days after a music festival at Suwanee so I had been doing this very thing for days before. My only suggestion would be to raise the stage a bit. Many in the audience were struggling to see over the vertically gifted.

    Turnpike and friends

by Hendooman on 8/2/16Uptown Theater - Kansas City

Great concert, you can really tell there is a lot of mutual respect between all three bands that were on the bill. Big fan of American Aquarium, kind of wish they and the Old 97's would have switched time slots. Great show though.

    Turnpike at uptown theatre

by NateO79 on 8/2/16Uptown Theater - Kansas City

Great venue. Easy to get great seats. No seat or standing room is far from the stage. Smaller venue with great sound and great views of stage.

    The whole show was amazing!

by skemper on 8/1/16SumTur Amphitheater - Papillion

I went to the show to see the Old 97's and was blown away with the quality of both American Aquarium and the Turnpike Troubadours. I had never heard of them before and was glad to be introduced to them. I left the concert with two CD's and have been listening to them since.

    Great Band Questionable Venue

by Reldeg1127 on 8/1/16The Uptown Theater - Kansas City

I really enjoy the musical talent and the songwriting this band offers. Their studio albums are amazing. The concert at the Uptown Theater in KCMO was a bit of a disaster. The sound guy had the volume so loud that my wife and I left with concussion like symptoms about 30 minutes into the main act. It was physically uncomfortable and made it impossible to enjoy the music. They played with American Aquarium, who was decent and The Old 97s who pretty much just played loud noise and screamed into the microphone. All in all I still love this band but want to see them in another venue. I am hoping this concert was just an isolated bad experience.

    Amazing

by Anonymous on 7/31/16SumTur Amphitheater - Papillion

Turnpike has been my favorite band for a while, but this was my first opportunity to see them live. They did not disappoint. They sound exactly like their album. Lot of energy in the crowd. Everyone knew all their songs. The band mingled in the crowd during the opening acts and we're out high fiving and thanking them as they left. Just flat out awesome.

Mercury Ballroom is a second rate venue

    by seank37 on 6/29/16Mercury Ballroom - Louisville

Mercury Ballroom is my least favorite place to see a show in Louisville. From the outrageously priced drinks to the horrible layout of the club, it's clear that this club is just in it for the money. Go figure, it's owned by Live Nation. The barrier in front of the stage is so far back, it squeezes people towards the out of place soundbooth, which also takes up a large portion of right-in-the-middle prime viewing real estate. Whoever designed this space was not a music lover, but simply a bean counter.

Great show, Great venue. had an absolute blast. General seating was full when we arrived so we had to stand but still had a awesome time. Not a bad seat in the house

    Turnpike Troubadours were incredible

by CMVH on 3/29/16The Pageant - St Louis

The band played non-stop. They didn't waste any time at all with a bunch of filler talk. A lot of instrumental and vocal talent.

Great music, great band, great night

by Mandylovesmusic on 3/28/16The Pageant - St Louis

If you haven't seen the Turnpike Troubadours, get tickets the next time they are anywhere near you. Their red dirt rootsy country music is the real deal. Between Evan Felker's lead vocals, the fiddle of Kyle Nix and the guitars/bass of RC Andrews and Ryan Engleman, these guys are knockout good. I almost don't want to say that because if they get even bigger they will start playing bigger venues. They would shine there, too, but they just burn the place down at these smaller places.

    Excellent per usual...

by tccdc on 11/10/15The Fillmore Silver Spring - Silver Spring

If you are not into Bro Country and miss fiddles and great lyrics, then the Turnpike Troubadours are for you. They gave another outstanding 90 minute performance. This is the 8th time I have seen them, and every time is great.
