About

Pioneers of the Red Dirt music scene and one of America's most beloved bands, Turnpike Troubadours has amassed a massive following throughout their renowned career with more than 2.2 billion streams globally and over 1.7 million equivalent units sold. Since their debut in 2005, the band has released seven studio albums, performed countless sold-out headline shows, appeared in Paramount's hit show "Yellowstone" and were inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. Most recently, Turnpike Troubadours added to their historic career with the release of their new surprise album, The Price of Admission, which debuted at #1 on the iTunes all-genre and country charts and earned them their highest Spotify chart debuts to date. The eagerly awaited follow up to their widely acclaimed 2023 album, A Cat in the Rain, The Price of Admission further cements the band as an undeniable force in the music world and led Whiskey Riff to declare "Turnpike Troubadours have continued to prove time and time again that they are the greatest band of all time." Originally from Tahlequah, OK, Turnpike Troubadours is Evan Felker (vocals, guitar), Kyle Nix (fiddle), Ryan Engleman (electric guitar), RC Edwards (bass), Gabe Pearson (drums) and Hank Early (steel, accordion).

  • Amazing

by Meagan on 3/1/23American Airlines Center - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

They were everything I wanted them to be and so was their opener! Amazing atmosphere, perfect musical talents- an all-around good time. After waiting years to see them, I feel such pride in getting to do so!

  • Freaking amazing show

by TPTROCKS on 2/28/23American Airlines Center - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

We were way up on the top deck and it was still the most amazing show ever. Turnpike sounds better live than on recording. The energy is amazing!! 100% going next time they’re in town.

  • Incredible night

by Joedaddy on 2/28/23American Airlines Center - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

It’s been 2+ years since we had seen the Turnpike Troubadours and they were as good as they have ever been. It was an incredible show. Like spending the night with an old friend you haven’t seen in a long time. Both opening acts, The Wood Brothers and the Avett Brothers put on a good show as well and are seasoned veterans.

  • Outstanding

by Mike on 2/28/23American Airlines Center - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Two of my favorite bands together, can’t beat that. The entire lineup, set list choices and fellow fans were top notch. Had a great time and way too much beer.

  • Great Band, Great Venue

by RD on 2/28/23American Airlines Center - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Hit after hit - what an incredible evening with the guys at the AAC. Would go back again right now if I could!

  • The Best in a Long Time!

by Mollie B on 2/28/23American Airlines Center - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Best show I’ve been to in a LONG time! All bands played excellently, phenomenal sound quality, great seats, fast lines at check-in and concession. All in all a great experience!

  • Brilliant show all around

by SOOTO on 2/28/23American Airlines Center - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

All three bands brought their “A” game! An especially energetic crowd for the Troubadours! Standing from start to finish, even in the “nose bleed” seats!

  • Amazing

Amazing concert. All three bands did amazing. Sound, performance, and seats were great

  • Bad sound and large cowboy hats

by RynoW on 2/28/23American Airlines Center - DallasRating: 1 out of 5

This was probably the worst concert experience I've ever had. The sound in the AAC is just awful and our view was completely blocked by all the Turnpike fan's fancy cowboy hats. It's like they didn't know they were in the middle of the city and indoors. We came mainly to see the Wood and Avett Brothers and ended up leaving early and rather pissed. Spent over $800. on two tickets and expected better.

  • Fix the sound

by Steve on 2/28/23American Airlines Center - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

Concert was good but they could have fixed the sound before the 8th song of the concert. Turnpike Troubadours were awesome as usual!

  • Turnpike Heaven

    by m_3O7 on 2/28/23American Airlines Center - DallasRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing experience to see a band I’ve been wanting to see for years!! Having The Wood Brothers and The Avett Brothers open was just a perfect line up!

  • Outstanding Performance

by JonnyMac on 2/28/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

The troubadours put on one of the best shows I’ve seen on a long time. The got the crowd into it as well!

  • Memories made

by Marlakb on 2/28/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

The best ever show...we had our grandkids, we were on the 3rd row on the floor...they absolutely loved it...they knew all the songs...someone came down close to the end of the concert and gave my granddaughter the set list for the concert...she was on cloud 9...can't thank you enough for the awesome experience 😀...

  • Great concert!

by Robin on 2/27/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

Venue was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful! Lines for refreshments/drinks moved more quickly than typical for a concert venue!

  • Could have been a great show

by cholliet on 2/27/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little RockRating: 2 out of 5

All the bands that played are fantastic. I love all their songs. I have several Avett Brothers discs and a couple of Wood Brothers and Turnpike Troubadours releases. All those recordings sound great. The sad thing about this concert was the audio. I realize the Simmons Bank arena may not have the best acoustics. But I have been to shows (Eagles, Brad Paisley, Avett Brothers in 2016) at this venue where the audio engineers knew what they were doing. Either the audio engineers at this show were drunk or they were deaf. Either way, the sound was really bad. This was the first show I've ever seen in my life where the bass drowned out the drums (except for the kick drum). Every now and then you could hear a little cymbal sizzle but that's about it. Everything was mush. Even the recording music before and between acts was mush. I doubt I will ever go to another Simmons Bank arena concert.

  • Sound was Terrible

by Brandon on 2/27/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little RockRating: 2 out of 5

Wood Brothers and Avett Brothers were both great and sounded amazing. However, the mix for Turnpike Troubadours was awful - the instruments were so loud and drowned out all the vocals. Huge let down after Avett was so good.

  • Sound

by John on 2/27/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little RockRating: 2 out of 5

The acoustics in the Simmons center are not he beat. This was my 6th time to see the turnpike troubadours and I was disappointed. Not in them but he sound in the building

  • The Avett Brothers!!!

by Ms Shelia on 2/27/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

The Avett Brothers are the best! They are amazing in concert, I'll bee seeing them again!

  • Great Band, arena sound was not balanced though

by Jo Ann on 2/27/23Simmons Bank Arena - North Little RockRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was GREAT! Loved every word that I heard from all 3 bands. However, I was on the lower row (2) of the upper level and the bass was WAY TOO LOUD during much of the concert. Sound engineer may need someone spotting different areas? It may have been perfectly balanced on the floor, but up above, we missed some parts. Again, the Turnpike Troubadours had a fabulous performance. I wish I had heard it in a smaller venue to avoid sound engineering issues. Avett Brothers and Wood Brothers were also very good!

  • Astounding
