  • An Enchanted Evening

by Elkman on 9/22/25Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts - BloomingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The Top of the World tribute to the magical music of Richard and Karen Carpenter is a wonderful evening of the brother and sister duo’s fabulous music and informative back story to many of their chart topping hits. A nice addition is the big video screen in the background of the and members. The vocals are extremely well delivered and the music is at a level that allows you to listen comfortably which I much prefer over those many concerts where the amps on the speakers blare so loud that you can’t hear the words of the songs, I suppose that is done to cover bad vocals. The vocals by Debbie Taylor are fantastic and she knows how to entertain and interact with the concert attendees with a refreshing dose of wit and charm. If you’re wishing or wanting to enjoy a concert that delivers absolutely beautiful soft music of bygone years then I highly recommend that you catch this concert, if at all possible, whenever you get the opportunity. You will not be disappointed!

Debbie Taylor was fantastic...sang beautifully and with heart and her musicians were wonderful too. They played so many instruments and sounded great. All the great songs were sung as well as a few Christmas melodies. Would highly recommend this show.

  • A truly delightful time

by Ju on 11/26/24Aventura Arts & Cultural Center - AventuraRating: 5 out of 5

As someone who not only adores listening to but also singing their songs, I was immensely satisfied and captivated by both the rendition as well as the members that performed there. Often finding myself closing my eyes to really immerse into the music. I do hope to catch them again if there are in the area. I wish my wife was there to witness it all.

  • Will's Walk Down Memory Lane

by Will on 10/1/24The Maryland Theatre - HagerstownRating: 5 out of 5

This band has found its niche. The musicians are all top rate, and Debbie Taylor sounds remarkably like Karen Carpenter. Truly an evening of tribute, with Ms. Taylor telling back-stories of the music and its origins. It was also VERY nice that the audience was encouraged to sing along!
