Maybe best for hardcore fans only

    by SteveJ on 4/23/24

Saw them in Chesterfield Missouri a few weeks ago. The lead singer was just ok. Not bad, but nobody ever got goospimply over his Freddie M. imitation. I'm a mild Queen fan (though I loved the bohemian raphsody movie), but my wife's a big fan. She enjoyed the concert much more than I did. And those around us who seemed to know every word of every song seemed to be having an excellent time. So it's maybe not fair for me to criticize. But one major beef I'll have is that the lead singer way, Way WAY, over-prodded the audience to get up on their feet and dance. Over and over again throughout the show. You gotta earn it dude. That part was cringeworthy to watch. Oh yeah, one other thing. The sound-board guy is absurdly in love with bass notes that make you feel like you're being punched in the gut. Over, and over, and over, all night long. Kind of cool at first but just torturous over the course of a couple of hours. I grew up in the 60's and 70's loving live rock and blues, and never, ever heard absurd levels of bass like that.

Killer Queen put on a great show!! Every member was super talented!! All the solo performances were fantastic. PATRICK'S attention to detail in paying tribute to Freddie blew me away!

    Good show

by Cls459 on 4/3/24Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

I bought the tickets to take my special needs grandson. His favorite band is Queen. He enjoyed the show very much. I had to explain the encore routine after he looked so disappointed when they left the stage; but, he was very excited when they came back out and sang Bohemian Rhapsody. Overall it was a good show. We enjoyed it very much.

Killer Queen Review Reno March 24 2024

by Peter C. on 3/31/24Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

We walked out 30 minutes into this terrible show. I know Freddie Mercury is a unique talent and voice but if you are a professional Queen impersonator you have to have some kind of voice to at least make it kind of close to the original. Yes the rest of the band sounded good, yes the lead singer looked and had the mannerisms of Freddie but his voice after 30 years doing the same gig is absolutely shot. Sorry dude someone needs to tell you to retire and make room for a younger stronger voice. I would avoid this show until they replace the lead singer.

Excellent tribute to the legendary rock band Queen

by Concert Enthusiast on 3/27/24Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

Obviously there is only one Freddie Mercury. But this show came as close to his uniqueness and excellence as you can get. The back up vocals were superb, the guitar work was very faithful to the Queen signature sound, and they played all the major hits. If you love Queen, do not miss this show, I've see it twice and I'll see it again.

by JC on 3/27/24Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

Having seen Queen in the 80’s, was wondering how well Killer Queen would be. Have to say they were awesome! They group put on one hell of a show and I’ve already recommended them to several of my friends. Would definitely see Killer Queen again!!

KillerQueen didn't kill it for me

by Franke on 3/27/24Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

My husband and I had really good seats but unfortunately if you didn't stand through most of the show, you were blocked by the people standing up in the seats ahead of us. The "Freddie Mercury"impersonator had all the moves down very well but that didn't make up for his singing. Also, I felt like we were playing a game of Simon Says when he would instruct the audience to wave their hands and point and clap. At first it was okay then it got old. I've paid much less for much better tribute bands. Wouldn't recommend.

    Just okay

by Reen on 3/27/24Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

Dinner before the show was great. Show was okay didn’t really sound like Queen and Patrick sang too fast and look overweight. Sorry but not sorry Great venue and sound system. Would go back again to see a different show.

    Fun time!

by Brenda P on 3/27/24Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - Reno

Enjoyed the concert! The band was spot on and it was remarkable how much the lead singer looked like Freddy Mercury! The venue was very nice. Comfortable seats, large viewing screens, and good acoustics. Only negative was the slot machines at GSR are super tight but I'll certainly go to another concert there.
