THE WONDER YEARS IN CONCERT:

Pop punk outfit The Wonder Years lives up to its nostalgic moniker, treating fans to coming-of-age anthems that perfectly encapsulate the ups and downs of adolescence. Charismatic frontman Dan "Soupy" Campbell is known for his powerful, emotive vocals, and he makes captures the essence of young adulthood perfectly on hard-charging songs like "Won't Be Pathetic Forever" and "You're Not Salinger, Get Over It". With their brisk combination of galloping drums, heavily distorted guitars, and soaring vocals, The Wonder Years always treat fans to an adrenaline-filled concert experience on their unforgettable tours.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

The Wonder Years formed in Pennsylvania in 2005 from the ashes of pop punk band The Premier. After releasing two split EPs with other local bands, they made their full-length debut in 2007 with the album Get Stoked On It! The record introduced listeners to their clever songwriting with cheekily-titled tracks like "I Feel in Love with a Ninja Master" and "Buzz Aldrin: The Poster Boy for Second Place", and before long their growing fanbase drew them out for extensive touring. The band followed up in 2010 with Upside, a more polished effort that landed at No. 5 on the Alternative charts thanks to catchy tracks like "Melrose Diner" and "This Party Sucks". Amid a busy touring schedule, the band released two more critically and commercially successful albums including 2013's The Greatest Generation -- a Top 20 hit on the Billboard 200. A passionate and energetic live act with nearly a decade of experience under their belt, The Wonder Years continue to wow ticket buyers with their high-octane sound and relatable lyrics on tour.

Could not go to the concert.

by Ignored accessibility needs on 3/22/22Algonquin Commons Theatre - Ottawa

We purchased tickets for my wife’s favourite band a year ago and drove 6 hours to see the band. I emailed ticket master and the venue over and over about accessibility seating and never heard back. After all of that we did not go as we realized there was likely no accessibility seating or section and if there was, we were not able to access it.

The show I couldn’t pass up

by TribeGuy48 on 3/13/22House of Blues Cleveland - Cleveland

Was a big fan of the wonder years when these two albums came out. Have seen them live maybe 10 years ago but to see them play their first two albums front to back was awesome

please don’t force people into a mosh

by markell on 2/28/22The Masquerade - Heaven - Atlanta

The concert was great!! The band was amazing and I had a great time, except for the people that kept trying to open a mosh pit and push me into it. I’m 5 ft 1, so hitting me in the back of my neck and head repeatedly (especially by people significantly larger than me) was kind of not cool. But aside from that, it was cool.

    Great venue and great show!

by VB on 2/28/22The Masquerade - Heaven - Atlanta

All 4 bands: The Wonder Years, Spanish Love Songs, Origami Angel and Save Face put on a great show! Getting into the venue was easy and they were very thorough with COVID check and security check. Bathrooms were clean and stocked entire show! Floor and Drink staff were friendly and quick.

    Wowzers

by Vanessa on 2/27/22House of Blues Orlando - Orlando

The pours at the bar were weak - didn’t even fill the shot. BUT THE BANDS WERE AWESOME. I’m thankful that the security guards put our masks halfway through the show. I truly feel like they were keeping us safe.

    The queen is the best!

by Tina on 12/13/21The Queen - Wilmington

The location alone is great! The Queen is a historic building but you would never know because it has been so well kept. The sound quality was great! The staff went above and beyond! The only part that wasn't so smooth was the ticket line was slow.

    Spotty house PA

by Nate on 12/13/21The Queen - Wilmington

The show was great, cool venue, good parking options, but the PA cut ouut in pat/whole several times throughout the show and seemed to be more of a house sound issue than the tour sound equipment

    House of Blue February 2020

    by Nat P on 12/2/20

The show was amazing, they did half acoustic and soft and the other half went HARD. I am so happy that I was able to see them one last time before a pandemic came through and ruined it all.

    Amazing show

by Mike on 3/7/20The Observatory North Park - San Diego

Finally got to see my favorite band headline and they put on an amazing show. Also, the observatory north park is by far the best venue in San Diego. Very open feeling, well ventilated, short bar lines, great sound quality. And they have a free parking garage!

HOB Security Staff Deserve A Raise!

by Mo on 2/29/20House of Blues Orlando - Orlando

The Wonder Years were amazing as always. I have seen them a handful of times over the past decade. What I really want to highlight is how amazing the HOB security staff was! They were great about giving us at the barricade a heads up when crowd surfers were coming and helping them down safely and quickly. They also brought water cups to everyone between sets. I was so impressed! I’ve never had a concert experience like it.

    Was great but..

    by B. K. on 2/29/20The Masquerade - Heaven - Atlanta

The music was fantastic! Really enjoyed the acoustic Burst and Decay songs. There was great energy and Dan Campbell’s voice was almost flawless all the way through a 20+ song set! With that being said, I have a problem with celebrities blasting political comments. I paid money to hear music not political views. While I know politics are important, it’s not their place to try to influence young people, who may not do their research, into voting for people THEY like. The influence they have on young people wanting to be like them is overwhelming. I’m sorry, but I am NOT a Stacy Abrams fan and never will be. Not all of the fans of The Wonder Years are Democrats or Liberals, and this just really turned me off. If I’m paying money to see you, please stick to the music not your personal beliefs. I don’t push my political viewings down other people’s throats and I don’t expect you to just because you are a “celebrity”.

show was great! venue was overcrowded

by Alex S on 2/25/20Webster Hall - New York

The performances were truly great (as TWY always is) but the venue was so overpacked that I was standing in the doorway on my tip-toes trying to see until I squeezed in between some people. I didn't even have a group to account for when finding a spot in the main room and there still wasn't space. Also, the line to coat check was absurd. They had us go up two flights of stairs, around and back down to the lower level to get to the coats. There has to be a better way.

    Amazing

by C. C. on 10/29/19Theatre of Living Arts - Philadelphia

The show as a whole was amazing! My wife and I started listening to Future Teens a few months back because of Dan Campbell so when they were added to the show it made us even more excited! Trash boat was great, especially for their cover set of Oasis but of course The Wonder Years stoke the show!! Their set of Limp Bizkit was great but The Wonder Years puts on an amazing show every time we see them! I have to say with the exception of rudeness of some people, this might be my favorite show I have been to, in large part to it being my favorite set list I’ve heard them play as well as the set list of Future Teens! The Wonder Years has been a favorite band of mine for a while now and especially the last few years has moved into my favorite one or two slot of bands! Each time I see them I have more and more fun but like I said with the addition off Future Teens it’s up there with one of my favorite shows ever!
