Despite some high pitched feedback when AW20 started, the show was captivating as usual.
I found this band a few years ago when I learned that he was the singer of another favorite of mine, the wonder years, and it only took me one listen to be hooked. I was so excited to see they were playing live and let me tell you THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! I already cant wait for the next show.
Venues was great. Water was available whenever asked. Security made it feel safe.
literally the best live performance i’ve seen. full band, everything was well rehearsed, dan campbell sounds amazing as always JUST like he does on the recorded songs so that’s fucking awesome. iconic. amazing. great experience. chill crowd too and a small intimate venue. literally couldn’t have had a better experience
This was the most incredible show I have ever been to. It felt as though the entire audience was feeling the same emotions all at once, and you could truly feel it when everyone was singing. It was such a happy and beautiful time while still being able to feel and express such raw, sad emotion. A true emotional release that I am so thankful to have been apart of!
Dan spends time at the merch booth before and after the show. He talks with his fans and signs their stuff when he could choose to just relax in the back. He spends the entire time on stage in character, and it makes the show so much better. He performances are always solid, and I've never left an Aaron West and the Roaring 20s show disappointed.
Aaron West (aka Dan Soupy Campbell) did not disappoint, he is an amazing story teller through his lyrics and takes the time to engage with the audience between songs.
No complaints with the bands. Dan always gives his all to his performances and even ran his own merch table. My complaint is with the venue notnbeing very accommodating. The male bartender was fairly unfriendly and borderline rude. The doorman smelt of alcohol and would not allow us to take hundreds of dollars in merch back to our vehicle. When we spoke to his manager, the managers best recommendation was to place everything against the wall. We ended up having to send one guy out and purchase and additional ticket to get back in. Won't be going back go any property owned by Pro West anytime soon.
When the crowd sings so loud that the monitor has to be turned up for the artist to hear, it's a good show. Equally a very chill, and exciting performance. I will definitely be seeing AW again.
