TBS was Amazing, Adam's vocals are improving.

    by A. R. on 7/16/23

Taking Back Sunday put on a phenomenal show. Adam, the lead singer has had very odd, iffy vocals for a long time but tightened them up on July 15th at PNC Arts Center, he is starting to put the vocals a bit more into perspective before they come out. The setlist put me directly back to 05, 06...it almost turned my galaxy into a boost mobile i860 flip phone for just a brief moment. What i did find odd and irritating, was paying vip for a special "vip lounge, bar and bathroom" that were way further than the main public restrooms which had no lines plus nobody told us where they were. The lounge..there was none, just our seats wit everyone else. Bar..why go all the way from the stage to hunt for the special bar we didnt get informed of its location on when a vendor was halfway up the steps from me? Sadly, there was MANY seats available because Sad Summer Fest does the absolute laziest, minimal promoting and updating ive ever witnessed. Posting 1 update every 14 weeks did not help..not everyone looks at stories on instagram for their upcoming concert info...i would scour google for any updates and find the same articles from weeks and months ago. As for the other bands, didnt know them but enjoyed all their sounds Hot mulligan's lead singer was my fav, enjoyed the strain n pain in his voice. Met The Maine for a photo. Even with restricted time they each shook my and my friends hand, very respectful chill dudes. This is an experience from a lifelong hip hop head from the bronx, btwn this and Blink at msg in may, isnt a single rap show in the world that could bring me a quarter as much joy and excitement as these have done for me..the height of my happiness is now and feels like its here to stay a while(ill still indulge in the sweet sadness all summer with FOB and Sunny day real estate tickets aug 1st n 15thšŸ„¹šŸ¤˜šŸ»)

It had a great vibe. My daughter and her friends were thrilled with the performance of their favorite band. I love going to concerts at Artpark. It was a win-win show.

This was like if warped tour cared about people, having water stations and real bathrooms was amazing

    Pretty fun!

by Stedi on 8/6/22Artpark Outdoor Amphitheater - Lewiston

There was no super popular headliner so that was a little disappointing, especially for the price of the ticket. BUT, it also made for a super laid back experience without the huge crowds which was a huge plus! The photo ops set up around the venue was super cute. Overall great experience. Iā€™d probably go back again.

    Amazing experience

by Melody on 8/6/22Artpark Outdoor Amphitheater - Lewiston

There was indoor bathrooms and cold water available at all times, all the acts were AMAZING and I even got to meet some members from my favourite bands. Good variety of food options too (which was great because Iā€™m vegan I was afraid Iā€™d have to survive off or French fries)

    Terrible

by Kelly on 8/6/22Artpark Outdoor Amphitheater - Lewiston

The Summer Set didn't belong in this type of festival they are not an "Emo" band. They were wonderful as always as for the 1st band to come she was ok the 2nd, no I would've left right after if it wasn't for the summer set coming in. We did how ever leave right after. Definitely not my thing. Please next time leave the Summer Set out of this type of festival. They are too good for this.

    Absolutely amazing time

by Jay on 8/6/22Artpark Outdoor Amphitheater - Lewiston

All the bands were great, the venue was nice and had room for everyone, security was on point making sure everyone was safe and hydrated, free water was provided which was amazing since it was 90 degrees outside. Easily top 3 concert Iā€™ve ever been to
