    Sound distorted

by Bummed on 4/22/24Greenfield Lake Amphitheater - Wilmington

Vocals were muffled and drowned out. Guessing too much volume. Usually much better sound clarity at this venue.

Why do so many stand up?

by SRG on 4/22/24Greenfield Lake Amphitheater - Wilmington

My review is not so much of the band but the audience. Have been a fan of the Wallflowers for 3 decades and was looking forward to this show but will not go to GLA again. This was my 4th time and it's always the same. I admit I'm old with a bad back and cannot stand for extended periods. I wish there was somewhere to sit that I could see over those standing and enjoy the show. I'd pay more if there was. Even the extra price high top chairs in the back had to stand to see the stage. I know they will not have problems selling tickets but I won't be there.

Dylan with too much empty space

by Double E on 4/22/24Greenfield Lake Amphitheater - Wilmington

Jacob Dylan's band, The Wallflowers, has some amazingly popular songs to carry the concert for the most part. Too bad he broke up the rhythm between songs chatting up his band mates with what ever he had to say. Most of the energy came from his covers of Van Morrison, the Allman Brothers and Van Morrison. Otherwise, this venue can make everything feel good

    Jacob’s still got ir

Fantastic band, classic 90s and fresh music. Added great Tom Petty and Van Morrison covers added to a memorable night.

    Too loud!

by Pat on 4/22/24Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

Great theater and accommodating staff! Convenient parking. I loved the opening act, the Adam Ezra Group. I had never heard of them but will follow them now. I love The Wallflowers and was looking forward to seeing them but it was so loud. My friend stayed an hour and then left. Very disappointing.

    No excitement

by RayJay on 4/22/24The Paramount - Huntington

Worst concert I've been to in a long time. Music too loud and couldn't make out a word he sang. No energy in the room.

    Terrible sound in loge

by CK on 4/21/24Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

Opening band were great, even when singing acapella on the front of the stage. The Wallflowers were also great except in the loge the sound was terrible. It was not easy to listen to !

    High School Rock

by Lou on 4/20/24Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

So disappointed. The Band may have played well, but we couldn't tell because the sound system was very garbled, which was not compensated for by the increased volume! We were not surprised to meet other patrons in the lobby when we left early, all complaining about the poor sound quality also. We certainly don't plan on attending another concert at Count Basie.

    Magical as always

by Michele on 4/20/24The Paramount - Huntington

Have been enjoying their shows for 25 years ! I’ve seen them around 30 times and I’ve enjoyed every show. (The band is not what it once was obviously since it’s all new, but it’s got a new feel which is okay too)

    Amazing Talent

    by T.B. on 4/20/24The Paramount - Huntington

Saw them at the Patamount, which is a fun, welcoming, beautiful venue. They played all the hits. Jakob has a great voice and presence. Incredibly talented band. It was amazing hearing One Headlight and 6th Avenue Heartache live.

    Poor sound & enthusiasm

by PS on 4/20/24Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

The Wallflowers show was a big disappointment. They appeared not to have checked their sound equipment or the acoustics of the theater. The volume of the instruments was so loud it interfered with being able to hear the vocals. The opening act made an effort to engage the crowd while the Wallflowers did not. They simply came onto the stage & started playing and really did not even attempt to interact or check in with the audience. My partner & I left a little more than halfway through their performance, as did quite a few audience members before us. If you have the option leave befor they hit the stage.
