    Wallflowers are terrific!

by yankeesfan2238 on 7/8/09Northern Lights - Clifton Park

The Wallflowers are an amazing band that will deliver an unforgettable concert. The opening act is forgettable but the wallflowers really put on a good show. They have a deep pool of good music that they play from and Jacob Dylan is as dynamic and amazing as ever. My only disappointment was that they did not play my favorite song, 'The Difference' but I can't expect everything every time.

    The Wallflowers

by MarkV12 on 7/8/09Northern Lights - Clifton Park

The Wallflowers were fantastic....tight, sounded good, Jakob Dylan put on a good show in his comments to the crowd. In addition, the drummer and lead guidarist were superb as well.

    Wallflowers in the Dark

by DPD1 on 7/8/09Northern Lights - Clifton Park

Jacob Dylan had the lights turned down so low the audience couldn't see the band members' faces. It's extremely difficult to connect with an artist you cannot see.

Wallflowers & Jakob Dylan were great!!!

by NewtownST on 7/6/09Keswick Theatre - Glenside

Intimate atmosphere, great acoustics, and a band that took full advantage of this to the delight of the audience! Jakob showed excellent rapport with the audience and was quite humerous.....best line "...I always enjoy coming to Philadelphia, it's like coming home, I have family here.............not really, but it's always a crowd pleaser" Rocked out version of 3 Marlena's was awesome! Definitely worth the price of admission.

    Wallflowers were fantastic!

by Candice on 7/4/09Keswick Theatre - Glenside

What a fabulous concert! The sound at the Keswick was great. The band agreed. They changed their set list while on stage because of the sound and energy in the room. They played every one of my favorite songs. I don't know what the original set list looked like but I can't imagine it was any better than the spontaneous list they performed. The size of the theater gave the concert a very intimate feel, as did Jakob. He made the audience feel a part of the show. He connects well with his audience and knows how to please them. It felt as if we were sitting in my garage listening to friends play for me. I highly recommend seeing The Wallflowers if given the chance. We enjoyed them very much. I look forward to seeing them again in the future.

I really liked the show. Jacob Dylan is such a sweetheart and so unassuming. The band was good, very relaxed and mellow. I took my family even, they really loved it!

    Jacob should stay acoustic

    by bern47 on 7/3/09Keswick Theatre - Glenside

A well played set by the Wallflowers. Overall it was enjoyable with the first half being of far better quality than the latter half. Jacob Dylan does well singing and welling his stories with the quality backing of the band. While on acoustic guitar the shortcomings of his playing are nicely covered in the background. However as the show progresses he abandons the quiet safety of his acoustic guitar for his Fender Telecaster. This is a mistake as the jouneyman quality of his playing comes to the forefront at this point. Stale stage banter by Jacob also detracts from the overall quality of the performance. Openeing act Augastana performed very well and was well matched with The Wallflowers.

    better than ever

    by c946 on 7/3/09Keswick Theatre - Glenside

The Wallflowers are back and sounding better than ever. Jakob and the guys played all the hits and pulled a few rarities out of the vaults, too. "Shy of the Moon" and the hidden track "Baby Bird" were just two of the many highlights. Catch these guys live if you can. It's well worth your time and money. Augustana opened and they were awesome, too. Overall a great night.

An intimate evening with the Wallflowers

    by prowess64 on 7/3/09Keswick Theatre - Glenside

The venue of Keswick theater made for a small, intimate setting to hear some of the best music produced in the last 20 years... live. The Wallflowers came out quiet and humbly took the stage launching into the appropriate opener of "Feels Like Summer Again." For close to the next two hours, Jakob Dylan made obviously changes to the set list, advising the other band members as to the next song as the current one finished; he made conversation with the audience in a style that resembled bratty-flirtation, pointing out that he never, ever sits front row for anything... it's too much pressure. He was charming and funny, and the music was phenomenal. I've been to a lot of shows at many different types of venues and I have to say that this performance ranks in my top three.

    Wallflowers rocked at Keswick

    by abc1946 on 7/3/09Keswick Theatre - Glenside

The band was TIGHT. Stew on lead was really something special. Jacob' lyrics and voice were great and his interaction with the fans was fantastic. The drummer was on another planet, SUPER!!!!!! Keyboards and base were right on. I believe we might have seen a hint of history in the making

    Wallflowers were amazing

    by CeCe28 on 7/3/09Keswick Theatre - Glenside

I enjoyed both Augustana as well as the main act Wallflowers. The music was great with both the new and the old. The end of the concert and the enocre were just amazing. Everyone was on their feet and moving up towards the front of the theatre.
