Watching these musicians transform music from genre to genre was enchanting. They kept the audience involved making us feel like part of the performance. I loved it! Well done Queens! Well done.
These ladies educated us on their passion for the strings, and it’s obvious, their love for sharing this knowledge as educators. I would return anytime they are near enough for me to attend
These ladies have great energy. They reinvent familiar songs that had the audience jamming. Some songs were performed with added band members (string bass, drums, piano) which really filled out the sound. If you like popular music presented on traditionally classical music instruments, you’ll enjoy.
My experience with The String Queens generated more peace, love, and joy in my life to be spread amongst us all.
I took a chance on a trio I’ve never heard or heard of. My instincts for a new experience have not failed me once again! I was more than thrilled with their musicality and command of the material. From classical, contemporary, and improvisation. The ladies showmanship and individuality was well received by the audience who reciprocated with accompaniment. I will keep Three Queens on my lips and playlist!
I seen many concerts over the years and this one has almost rendered me speechless! Awesome performance with an intermission. TSQ played all types of music from Spirituals, to EWF (Earth Wind and Fire) to the Beatles. If they're anywhere near you get your tickets soon. They are also music educators by day, so what an amazing side hustle. Youtube.com is not enough and doesn't measure up to the live show.
They were phenomenal performers. There were 8 of us on the first row. Had a great time. Will definitely see them when they come to NYC area.
