  • Amazing voice!

by cbe on 11/21/25The Factory - Saint LouisRating: 4 out of 5

Love, love, love Samara Joy! Her voice is incredible and the band was stellar. I've seen her a couple of times before and was very excited for this concert. My only critique is that she did not sing any of the songs from her first album, Linger Awhile, which was what first made me a fan. I was waiting to hear "Can't Get Out of This Mood,""Misty"and others. Love Samara, but please, please, please sing some of your early songs next time you are on tour.

Samara Joy's performances create joy for the audience. The stylistics and vocal range are flawless while capturing the magical moments to engage the audience. The band creates a seamless connection between the words and sounds reverberating throughout the air. We look forward to Ms. Joy's concert annually in the fall.

  • Amazing vocalist

by Aksulli on 11/17/25Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Samara was absolutely amazing! She is a skilled and talented wonder! Her stage presence is one of elegance, modesty, and captivating. I wish the theatre's sound system brought her voice above the instruments a little more, but it was an enjoyable experience. I look forward to buying tickets to her future performances. Bravo and may God continue to bless her journey!

  • Awesome!

by IGP on 11/15/25Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Samari Joy was outstanding as always! My only complaint was she didn’t sing any songs from her first album. As a seasoned concert goer, the best concerts are when the artists mix a blend our there new and most popular songs! She’s very young and still learning, but her voice pays homage to Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald, Betty Carter, Ruth Brown, Rosemary Cooney, and the many talented artists before her!

  • The Voice of a Generation.

    by Lori J. on 11/15/25Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I've been a fan of Samara Joy from the beginning of her wonderful career. Her name is eponymous because she brings so much joy with every vocal interpretation. I am totally captivated by her artistry, skill, and poise. The Warner Theater is a beautiful venue and acoustically a great place to experience such a fabulous jazz singer. I especially enjoyed her singing No More Blues, Lover Man, and I've Got It Bad And That Ain't Good. Her handling of the American Songbook is impeccable. She's such an incredible talent. I am completely in awe, and look forward to her next performance. I'll be there. Cheers.

  • Stunned and amazed!

by Market Goddess on 11/15/25Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

After a rather grueling trip from the eastern shore to the Warner theater, I was stunned by the artistry of this incredible vocalist. The concert was utter perfection.. I was rather frazzled when I got to the theater. I sat down just in time for the first note. I am not lying when I say the first note out of Samara, Joyce’s mouth made me weep. I was stunned by her mastery. I’ve been to a lot of concerts and seen a lot of really amazing vocalist in my life. I have never heard an audience audibly gasp at the amazing gymnastics of a vocalist, but it happened Wednesday night. And I hope I get to hear her many many many other times.

  • Samara, brings JOY!!!

by Gem on 11/15/25Warner Theatre - WashingtonRating: 5 out of 5

SAMARA JOY! This young lady who opened her performance with a jazz hymn, a style I didn’t know existed. Her voice is incredibly soothing, and she floats through her notes with grace. I love when she uses her lower register. Her performance was spiritual, and she is a talented storyteller. She recently celebrated her 26th birthday! She is inspiring, creative, and gifted. One of the pieces she performed with the band was called "Five Languages of Love,"which had no words. It was quite interesting and very well done! Go experience this young lady!!! Recommend!!
