About The Price Is Right Live

In 1972, a part of TV history began its journey with the premier of The Price Is Right on CBS. When contestants heeded host Bob Barker's iconic call to "Come on down!" and take part in what has become one of America's most beloved game shows, a legacy started that would last for decades to come. The Price Is Right is one of the most popular, longest-running TV shows ever, so it's not surprising that it spawned a stage version in 2002. When you attend The Price Is Right Live, you may not be on TV but you're still getting the full experience. Whether you're one of the randomly selected contestants or a spectator, you see the classic games played out before your eyes, as people do their best to guess prices in order to win cash and prizes.

  • Not what I expected at all

by Disappointed today on 2/11/25The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 2 out of 5

First off, no Drew Carey. No actual prizes, mostly videos of everything. Only one showcase and the prizes were priced well below MSRP. So the bids were definitely overestimated so that nothing would be given away!!!

  • It's as equally as exciting as the one on tv!

by The Minister on 2/11/25The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 5 out of 5

From start to finish it was a GREAT SHOW! The host and his staff was the perfect cast of characters to make it a memorable experience! Check in was easy, seating was good, and the merchandise was excellent! Most times you can always find something wrong with a show. Not this one! Oh wait! I have a selfish complaint! Haha It should've been longer so I had a chance to win! Haha Great job! I wish I could have it in Chicago, IL!

Very great experience: fun, entertaining and great participation!!!

  • Great Show!

by Peter on 2/11/25The Venue at Horseshoe Casino - HammondRating: 5 out of 5

My wife and I went to an early version of The Price is Right Live in Las Vegas many years ago. It was very disappointing with no energy and very inexpensive prizes. We decided to attend the show again in Hammond, Indiana which is less than an hour from our home. This was a terrific reproduction of the show we see on television. The host Todd Newton was wonderful and entertaining through the entire production. We will see it again at the next opportunity!

The show was awesome the host was funny as hell. But other people around me were fun and made it all the more awesome.

  • Wonderfully Exciting!

  • HUGE LETDOWN!

by Chomper on 2/11/25The Louisville Palace - LouisvilleRating: 1 out of 5

Nothing like the L.A. Show! Drew Carey is not there, half the show is video of Bob Barker clips, IF you are called as contestant...prizes are cheap, Amazon gift cards 25$, if you spin the wheel and hit the dollar you only win $100, 12 Oz cokes will cost you $9 , 2 mixed drinks $50, not worth the $66 ticket by far!! NEVER AGAIN!!

  • To big of a venue for The Price is Right

by Rosegold on 2/11/25The Louisville Palace - LouisvilleRating: 3 out of 5

If you have bought tickets for The Price is Right your intentions are to hear the words Come On Down, this venue holds to many people for entertainment like this. Too much competition!!!

  • Was definitely not expecting that

by Rosee on 2/10/25Indiana University Auditorium - BloomingtonRating: 2 out of 5

For the money we all spent on those tickets every one should have received a tee shirt and it just ended to quickly. Not worth it.

  • What A Price Is Right Time

by DeDe on 2/9/25The Louisville Palace - LouisvilleRating: 5 out of 5

This was a big check mark off my bucket list, all though it was not in LA this was a fun time had. My daughter went with me we enjoyed the people in the the line the most no we did not get called or win from the show but we did win, thanks you for coming to the Ville.

  • The PIR Live Show

by JB on 2/9/25The Louisville Palace - LouisvilleRating: 5 out of 5

This event was so much fun. 5 family members attended. 2 had never seen the show before and they loved it. Host Todd Newton was great. Would go see again!

  • Disappointed

by Tee on 2/9/25The Louisville Palace - LouisvilleRating: 3 out of 5

Had a great time with great friends. Was very disappointed in being told we had to buy the most expensive tickets in order to have a better chance of being called on stage. I don’t believe anyone in to first 6 rows were called to participate. The people who spun the wheel were already in place and names were not called. And the showdown was kind of a joke. IF you were lucky enough to win you only got part of prize

  • Price! Price!

by Roadrunner on 2/9/25The Louisville Palace - LouisvilleRating: 5 out of 5

My experience was a great time spent with my daughter and a great TV show. The price is right from the time we walked into the Palace theater. It was magnificent. The crowd was great plenty of enthusiasm and the whole production was wonderful. I hope it will come back soon.

  • Difficult to scan

by Gramps on 2/9/25The Louisville Palace - LouisvilleRating: 4 out of 5

The show was fun. Our phones had trouble opening the tickets and scanning to register. Got there at 6:15 and actually didn't get seated until 7:20. Even the event managers couldn't find the bar codes. So by the time they were able to help, we were exhausted.

  • Fun!

by Princess M on 2/9/25The Louisville Palace - LouisvilleRating: 4 out of 5

Lots of fun, but a bit too much filler. Saw lots of the same clips repeatedly!

  • Fun

by Tainá on 2/9/25Rating: 4 out of 5

it’s fun to be there and cheer for other people. I just don’t give 5 stars because no one told us before the show or emailed saying we had to register in order to have a chance to get picked and because the overpriced can beer was room temperature. If you’re going to overcharge for something, you should at least make it decent. I believe The Venue at Horseshoe Cassino was responsible for the bar and the staff at the door that didn’t give us any info about registration.

  • Price is right

by Tina on 2/5/25Toyota Oakdale Theatre - WallingfordRating: 3 out of 5

I wasn’t impressed with the show. Was a experience but don’t think I’ll go again

  • Mostly good

by Some Guy on 2/5/25Toyota Oakdale Theatre - WallingfordRating: 4 out of 5

The show was pretty good. There were a couple things I thought seemed weird. Half of the items folks were bidding on were on a video screen and half were there in person. That seemed a little odd. There were 2 games and then a spin the wheel showdown with 3 random people and not winners from the games, and then there was a third game followed by an intermission. After the intermission was one more game followed by another wheel showdown, and finally the two wheel winners bidding on the same showcase. It felt like they skimped but didn't really need to. Other than that, the show was fine.

  • The price is wrong

by Cindy M on 2/5/25Toyota Oakdale Theatre - WallingfordRating: 3 out of 5

The show was a lot of fun although truth be told… I was disappointed Drew Carey did not host but the person that did host the travel show was excellent. I was also very surprised to learn that eveningy that the travel show does not follow the same rules & format as the TV show. In other words for it would be nearly impossible to guesstimate the final showcase value that’s higher or lower than $100 of the retail price even if you had exact prices and a Calculator
