From the friendly and helpful staff at the venue to the well organised meet and greet and brilliant show the event was fantastic. Coming from the UK especially for the show we had no idea what to expect, everything ran smoothly and we all had a wonderful time.

The show was terrific! Josh is a very engaging speaker. We enjoyed his stories and his enthusiasm! Thanks for a great evening!

Josh is as authentic and funny as he is on his show. Some of his crew was in the audience which was nice to see them in person. Loved that he had a question and answer period. I was surprised to see the number of very young kids ask incredibly great questions and how well versed they are with Josh’s shows.

Josh Gates is really entertaining live. He's actually funnier in person than on screen, if you can believe that. I drove home to the San Fernando Valley from Del Mar (San Diego) to see him on a Sunday night only to hear that he was in San Diego the night before, oh well. My wife who watches Expedition Unknown with me had to stay in San Diego to close an event my family was producing, but we will attend his next SoCal event together. We can't wait! We're also looking forward to his 2 new mini-series' with Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future) in March and William Shatner (Shark Week) in July.

This event was amazing! Josh is entertaining, engaging and charismatic while at the same time being humble and relatable. If you are a fan of any of his shows, you have to attend one of his events. I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

We loved all the stories, and the exciting tales of Josh's world wide adventures and his super fun humor! Venue is quaint and perfect for this show! We'd definitely recommend everyone go!! We did think the show is best for kids 10 and over. Josh's TV shows have been entertaining us for many years, especially thru the Pandemic! Keep exploring our world, there's still so much to discover! We are big fans!!!

It was fun. Josh is as engaging and lively in person as he is on his shows. I enjoyed the evening and hearing his stories. I'd attend again in the future!

Josh is such a fantastic character, excellent story teller, and an inspiring and educational archaeologist. Anyone watching his shows cannot help but be enthusiastically engaged in his explorations and discoveries as they watch the stories unfold. Great event, excellent guy, and we can’t wait to see more from Josh Gates soon!

My wife, daughter, and I are huge fans of Josh Gates. My daughter and I, especially. We, at first, weren't quite sure what to expect, although I had a feeling about what Josh would do. Josh did not disappoint! He was his usual extremely likeable, humorous, and well informed entertainer. The manner by which he takes his audience on his numerous adventures, makes you feel as if you were actually there, with him! The way his presentation was presented, made his show all the more enjoyable. His live deliveries of his trips, coupled with his slides and videos, added significantly to the total experience. The coordination between Josh's live deliveries, and the very well edited slides and videos, were instrumental in really making this event so good, and so entertaining. It's Josh's personality, charisma, delivery, and humor, that combine to make his presentation extremely enjoyable!!! I would highly recommend Josh Gate's events! I should add that the ticket prices were very reasonable, and allowed my family to have fantastic seats. The Kavali Theater is a wonderful venue, as well.
