Andrew Callaghan and Channel Five composed an incredible film that changed viewers minds! Great film! Andrew is so damn funny and deserves more credit!
Movie was great and I loved the thesis Andrew was trying the prove and how personal the story was. Very interesting. Q&A questions can be hit or miss, but if someone asks a good one it can really add to your understanding of the movie/the approach and his feelings when making/editing the movie
Classic Channel 5 storytelling and setup. Well thought out and really enjoyed the Q&A. Been awesome seeing this go from All gas No Breaks "For the content!"To Channel 5 "Let's dive in and really see what's going on in the human experience."
The event was a great time. He and his team interacted with the crowd seamlessly and provided a valuable, personal experience for everyone in attendance. Cobb's Comedy Club was also very nice. Donny is the coolest. I was surprised by the number of veterans decorating their walls.
I took my son to the Indianapolis showing of Andrew’s film. We both had a great time. My son is a huge fan of Andrew’s, and since he isn’t quite 16 he needed a ride to the showing. Before going inside and walking through a metal detector, my son had to walk his pocket knife to the car. Andrew happened to be standing outside the theater and started a brief, inquisitive and friendly convo with my son, which ended in something like, “sick, bro,”followed by a fist bump. Fun start to the whole experience. We both thought the theater was really pretty, parking was super easy, and everyone who attended was happy to be there and polite. Andrew obliged the audience with a Q & A after the showing.
Really enjoyed this event. Had no idea what to expect. But, it ended up being an amazing chance to review and interact with a media creator, his art, and his vision. This event reinforced that Andrew is really just doing his level best to contribute and bringing attention to difficult issues. All the while staying true to himself while effectivly cultivating thoughtful responses and entertaining reactions.
Andrew gets 5* cuz it’s the best number on hood/on hustlers/on 55th st crip
I was really impressed with the depth of the film as there were so many different dimensions to it. It was incredibly funny, insightful, emotional and thought provoking. Andrew did such a great job of showing the humanity of a man who in his obsession to get his life back to “the way things were before” as he had made some poor financial decisions ended up driving himself even further away from his family. Andrew’s desire to show how a single tragedy can make an individual vulnerable to political extremism was necessarily eye opening!
This film was exactly what I expect from Andrew at this point: gripping content, a well put together storyline and narrative, factual analysis, all tied together to convey an underlying message. The theater was a great setting for this screening, and the experience of the event was awesome. Could not recommend seeing this for yourself enough, 10/10, looking forward to my next opportunity to do anything like this!
