About The Price Is Right Live
In 1972, a part of TV history began its journey with the premier of The Price Is Right on CBS. When contestants heeded host Bob Barker's iconic call to "Come on down!" and take part in what has become one of America's most beloved game shows, a legacy started that would last for decades to come. The Price Is Right is one of the most popular, longest-running TV shows ever, so it's not surprising that it spawned a stage version in 2002. When you attend The Price Is Right Live, you may not be on TV but you're still getting the full experience. Whether you're one of the randomly selected contestants or a spectator, you see the classic games played out before your eyes, as people do their best to guess prices in order to win cash and prizes.
My friend and I had a wonderful time. We wanted to be called to “come on down” so badly. But, it wasn’t to be. The show does a good job of changing the rules a bit so that the most people get to play a part of the game. The showcase showdown is pretty brutal, though. You have to come within $100 to win the whole thing. The person who comes closest without going over wins a trip.
Nothing like the TV version. I think they may have gave away 10k worth of prizes. With a full house of people, only four maybe one something worth value. I won't be going again.
I thought it would be more like the actual Price is Right. Way too much talking and too little playing. I didn’t like how the two people that played the showcase were picked from the audience and didn’t have to earn their way there. I bought VIP tickets. Definitely not worth the money
I loved this show! It was very close to the TV version except they call up 4 new people each time, thus giving the chance to win to more people. And they even called 3 new people for the big wheel, so it wasn't the same 3 people who already got to win something. Plus, after each contestant played, they did a drawing sort of like a door prize drawing, and audience members could win those prizes too. It was exciting, and I enjoyed being there the entire time. I definitely want to do this again!
It was fascinating and new. I have never been to a game show.
Once we got inside (delayed technical issues) it was a room of happy and we met some great people. Exciting to see the program first hand. Only disappointment was it was not aired on TV and the Host (not Drew) did not hand you your Super Fan gift bag as promoted. Glad we went, uplifting afternoon with lots of laughs 😁
It was a fun evening at the Price is Right Live! The only small compliant I have is they asked/ suggested that the VIP ticket holders come early to check in early to get their swag bag but then they asked us to leave the theater, which was a drag as I was/am recovering from knee surgery. Why request something but not have any accommodations for us to stay.
My husband and I drove around for over an hour and a half looking for a parking spot there was nothing no parking in sight so we lost our money and we didn't even get to see the show. My husband and I was there a couple hours before the show even started.
It was late. We made to stand in the hot sun for a half hour or more. No apologies from the stage. The show moved along well. The host was entertaining and enthusiastic!
the show was fun but it started late, then had about 15 minutes of producer chat. the host came out more than 30 minutes after the scheduled start time. for those with babysitters who need to be home for commitments the next day and who traveled far, that stinks. we left during the intermission. ticketmaster should include an estimated run time for the show. we would have opted to see a theater show in detroit. if you don't know about the live shows, and we didn't, you'd have thought Drew Carey was hosting. That isn't the case.
This show was not near as exciting as the show @ the Brown County Music Center show-there was not as much room. I had a beam in my way of my view to see so I had to.keep leaning to keep leaning to the side to see what was going on .
It was fun. Laughing a lot. But ran a little different from the tv game.
Enjoyed going it was very nice opportunity. They gave away a lot of nice prizes but I wouldn’t spend $250 again on a ticket because it isn’t worth it. You might as well just spend 25 or 50 on a ticket your given the chance to spend the wheel, my son didn’t even get in his bag what I got which was a hat and coasters. They missed putting a hat in his bag and so you know it really wasn’t worth the extra money.
Was an ok experience, for the price of VIP package was a little lacking. Seats were directly in front of speaker tower.
Come prorated to enjoy yourself and talk to strangers because that is exactly what you will experience. Smooth run of show and crowd participation was delightful.
This was our 1st time ever going to a game show!! We had without a doubt the best time!! We will do it again!! Definitely something to tryout if you have never done this!! The host and MC were awesome at their jobs keeping us entertained!!

It was so much fun! I never got picked to be a contestant but they make it fun for the audience too! It is very interactive! I will definitely go again and bring more people!
The only thing that would have made my experience better would have been a call to “Come On Down”. Love the show, the lights, the experience, and the host! Everyone did a great job! Even though the format changed, it worked for the location. I cannot wait to go to the show again!
