About The Price Is Right Live
In 1972, a part of TV history began its journey with the premier of The Price Is Right on CBS. When contestants heeded host Bob Barker's iconic call to "Come on down!" and take part in what has become one of America's most beloved game shows, a legacy started that would last for decades to come. The Price Is Right is one of the most popular, longest-running TV shows ever, so it's not surprising that it spawned a stage version in 2002. When you attend The Price Is Right Live, you may not be on TV but you're still getting the full experience. Whether you're one of the randomly selected contestants or a spectator, you see the classic games played out before your eyes, as people do their best to guess prices in order to win cash and prizes.
Fun night overall. Not exactly what I expected but fun none the less.
The price is right was a great show and the host did an excellent job but the seats we had were terrible could not see the people on stage because the games blocked the whole view. We could only see on the monitor and that was not the way we wanted to watch it. We certainly learned for the next time we go there .
This was a great event! The MC and producer were enthusiastic and professional. The pace was perfect and the crowd was pumped. We will definitely attend next time around.
Cheese. Just not what I thought the history was great but the games seemed poorly thought through and it was not as fun as it could be. My mil wanted to go and was so excited after leaving we all agreed this was just not good.
It's okay. No need to pay more than the basic rate for a seat. A lady in our session was a winner.
It was a great and fun show, but unfortunately, our seats were behind the left side of the stage and we couldn’t see anything that was happening. We had to watch everything on a small TV even though we were there -which was a huge bummer. We would love to go again, but would not want to be in those seats… of course when we chose the seats, there was a different set up for the stage- they were not on the side of the stage, there must’ve been a different set up on the day of the show. We were shocked that day to show up and find out that the seats weren’t as promised when we bought them.
We had a great time! My senior mother was let in so she didn’t have to wait on line. Staff is very friendly and it was just a lot of fun!
The show was a lot of fun. I think it was better than last year. The only thing I would like to see is the game played like it is on tv. I don't like how people are randomly picked to spin the wheel and the games are more fun to watch.
The entry was organized and fast with seating by chaperones. The well versed and prepared team of entertainers was a delight. The stage and props were on point. It felt electric and vibrant thru-out the nite. Contestants and audience were vry engaged and enthusiastic. I enjoyed myself and only wish I could have won a prize. Thank you. p.s. thanks for gift card from ticketmaster buying tickets thru them.
Don’t waste your money. This is as good as playing at home with a few real prizes. Not worth $300 a ticket!!!!
I thought the best part was going to have your name called with COME ON DONE but no said your name and showed on a video screen Did a lot of talking about them selves Was very misleading calling it The Price Is Right Also the 2 wheel winners only had 1 show case to bid on.
My daughter and I went to see the Price is Right travel game show recently at the Cross Arena in Portland, ME. I was so impressed at how real it felt sitting in the audience. It is a bit modified from the actual TV version but it was as close as it could have been. They presented trivia on the history of the game show and paid homage to the game show hosts over the past 50+ years. The audience was super into it and we had a blast even thought we didn't get called to "Come on Down". They prizes we're awesome ~ trips were won to England, Ireland and Bahamas. It was so cool to see the iconic games being played like Plinko and the game show host did a fantastic job. The show case showdown winner won a new car!! If you are a life long fan of The Price is Right be sure to go when it comes to a city near you - you will have a blast!
Was not Worth the $65 for Tickets basically it’s just a Cheap version of the Actual TV Show Best Recommendation Stay at Home Ana Watch on TV instead
My mother and I and an awesome experience! The host was great. It was engaging up until show time. The seating could have been better. We had VIP tickets and were on the floor. We had very minimal leg room and no elbow space. We felt like we were packed in like sardines. Also, when in line with others we discovered VIP did NOT have a specific line as the majority thought we did. I would definitely go again but I know what to expect and how to prepare next time.
Much of the production felt very "forced". There were perhaps 2,000 people there and little need to encourage them to cheer and applaud. I thought the games could have lasted quite a bit longer with more chances for more people to participate.
Everything was great ,except for the Registration, we got our Name tags but No One told us how to Register for the show. Didn't get checked in until the last minute,
All 5 of our seats were obstructed by a curtain and couldn’t see any of the stage.
Kinda like the tv show but not really. Would not go again. Am glad the tickets were a gift. Was not impressed.
Wish I had been called down, been to the 3 that have come to Portland and always had fun. Took a friend who had NEVER been to Cross Insurance Arena before. She has lived in Maine several years too and she loved it. Happy for those who got to play and those that won. Always entertaining!
My favorite game show and loved this version until the showcase. The price that they had for the package seemed staged and no one won. No way is an SUV, a trip to the Bahamas and to Miami, 2 surfboards and an underwater camera $30,000. I thought the contestants were too low at $32,000 and $34,000. Can't help but think no one had a chance and it was planned no one would win.
