The Phantom is back to thrill audiences once again! Cameron Mackintosh presents a revitalized new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's legendary musical, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, which was rapturously received by London critics when it reopened in 2021. Featuring Maria Björnson's brilliant original design and based on the celebrated direction of Harold Prince, with musical staging and choreography by Gillian Lynne, PHANTOM will launch a new multi-year North American tour in November 2025, premiering at the Cadillac Palace Theatre in Chicago December 11, 2025 - February 1, 2026.
THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA is widely considered one of the most beautiful and spectacular productions in history, playing to over 160 million people in 47 territories and 195 cities in 21 languages. Andrew Lloyd Webber's romantic, haunting, and soaring score includes "The Music of the Night," "All I Ask of You," "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again," "Masquerade," and the iconic title song. It tells the tale of a disfigured musical genius known only as 'The Phantom' who haunts the depths of the Paris Opera House. Mesmerized by the talents and beauty of a young soprano, Christine, The Phantom lures her as his protégé and falls fiercely in love with her. Unaware of Christine's love for Raoul, The Phantom's obsession sets the scene for a dramatic turn of events where jealousy, madness, and passions collide.

I attended The Phantom of the Opera in Las Vegas and the production in Chicago was just as good. I never get tired of watching The Phantom of The Opera.
The evening started out a little rough. We arrived at the Cadillac about 35 minutes ahead of the show and the lines to enter the theater were moving extremely slow. Not only was it frigid in the vestibule but we nearly missed the curtain call because it took us nearly 35 minutes to enter the lobby. All good news however once the lights dimmed. The set was spectacular!! Chandelier was magnificent. The show was well acted and beautifully choreographed. Absolutely worth the very cold wait!!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed Phantom of the Opera. There were a few changes from the original but nothing distracting. The music was glorious - both the orchestra and the singers. And the special effects were amazing. It truly was an unforgettable experience. We were in the dress circle and the Loge. Both great seats.

Great, simply great. I've seen this play in London and New York, and it moves me every time I see it. The tweaks to the show made the play even better.
Excellent performance Wednesday! The leads were all incredible with amazing voices. The chemistry between Julia and the two males leads was powerful and intriguing. The lighting could be better in certain scenes, like masquerade so you can appreciate the beautiful costumes.
I had never been to the Cadillac Palace Theater before. The stage was smaller than I expected. But the production was fantastic. I would recommend this show to anyone...everyone. I have always wanted to see Phantom on the stage. I'm so glad I did!
I had only seen The Phantom of the Opera on TV or DVD, which I love. But their is something to say about seeing it in person. I would love to see it again in person.
I enjoyed the development of the Phantom's character. I was left without the inner struggle to feel the same level of empathy for the Phantom as I feel in other productions but as an open minded theater goer I enjoyed the story these performers told. I fully enjoyed the sets especially the Phantom's layer and the masquerade.

Went to see phantom of the opera with my wife. The show was great. Staff was very helpful. Overall a great experience.
Fantastic seats for a great price. I had never seen this show before and bought the tickets for my mom and I to go, because she loves this show. We enjoyed very minute!
Over all the production was very good. When I saw Phantom almost 20 years ago, that production was better. At times it was difficult to hear the words that were being sung during duets and trio's. Overall the performance was good. It is a shame however, that there were a lot of people who were in attendance and dressed in jeans, sweat pants. it use to be one would dress up for an event or going to the theater.
This was the best play ever. The casting for this play was in creditable. The music, The singing , the acting awesome. I loved it. It was breathtaking.
