NPG was awesome they honored Prince Luke only his bands could.
Enjoyed the show. Great choice of songs. Prince would of loved Mackenzie.
Not just another Prince tribute show. The NPG is better than ever!- staying true to the lessons and legacy that Prince left behind while moving forward with a fresh approach. The concert was amazing! From Graffiti Bridge, Diamonds and Pearls, Love Symbol, and Gold Experience album, the best of the Prince & the NPG songs are performed to perfection. Throw in some rare gems, B sides, 1999/ Purple Rain hits , even a new NPG joint, and you got just about a perfect set list! Every fan of Prince should see this show- its the most authentic representation of Prince's live music. Look forward to seeing the NPG again in concert and hearing a new album soon.
The NPG has not loss their groove! They sound good, still move good and the energy is everything! And new member MacKenzie translates his love for Prince effortlessly. They showed up and showed out representing Prince to the fullest!
These gentlemen are true professional musicians. I see why Prince chose each one as part of his band. I was amazed at their skills. Mackenzie blew me away as the vocalist. He truly channeled Prince especially on his rendition of The Cross. A must see show!!
Incredible performance!! MacKenzie is an amazing entertainer—both singing and dancing!! Tony M. is such an incredible rapper!! I love his solo parts!! The entire NPG just killed it at Potawatomi!! Mackenzies performance of “The Cross” is my favorite every time I see these guys!! ❤️🎵🙌🙌🙌
Gratitude! The NPG are here. <-+0 Love and respect. I am so thankful. MacKenzie, yes. Mr. Hayes, Sonny T, Levi Seacer, Keith Anderson, Tony M, Damon Dickson, drummer Chris Bailey (?...not sure) Excellence of the highest quality. Hey fellas, are you hot? "No!" Why? "Cause we're cool!"
They are doing Prince proud, great performance amazing musicians, and doing great justice to his legacy. Funkiest band still around for sure.
