The March Violets Tickets

as much as i like the old March Violets songs it was difficult to stay interested in the performance we saw Friday. first of all, they didn't go on til 1230pm (that's very late for New Yorkers that have been working all day..to stand around and hear the opening band then stand around some more then stand around for the March Violets that in my opinion were kind of not remarkable. i think their enthusiasm was there on some level but musically didn't do it for me- not to mention it is kind of uncool for the performers to be using an iphone to video the audience in "slo-mo" when he should be more concerned about his performance- i hate it when people take out cell phones in the audiences and distract you but it is even WORSE when the act does it. can't say i would recommend this show (sorry because i say this as an old school goth girl of the 80s) . if you are reading this March Violets i'm terribly sorry it was just not happening.. and the iphone video taping made us leave. please note that keeping 40 plus year old fans waiting for you to go on after a days work at 1235pm is (respectfully) a bit MUCH.. why didn't you go on earlier?was it the Mercury who made you play again so late? we saw you standing around. less djing next time or maybe skip the opening band.
