    Maybe things heated up after the first hour but I left early, feeling like I'd seen and heard everything there was to see and hear. I really like Dry Cleaning on record (my fave band is The Fall, afterall). But live, less so. Maybe a bit more clarity in the vocal mix would have helped. The crowd was into it and wish the band the best!

    This is the second time I’ve seen Dry Cleaning and they continue to impress with their stage presence and sound. They are one of the best jazz indie psych spoken word bands around that have a unique way of weaving a wave of sound around a prose delivery. It’s OK!

    It is a beautiful place, but the sound —especially the vocals — was muddied to the point of great annoyance. This was particularly bad for Dry Cleaning because Florence Shaw’s lyrics/prose have an intimacy that is truly unique and compelling. That was lost at this venue. I will think twice about returning there for a concert.

    Nice small venue, good music. I thought the sound especially her voice could have been better. Her voice sounded muffled which kinda defeats the purpose in this case. Overall some good guitar work.
