Getting there

The Minskoff Theatre is located on 200 West 45th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue. There is no designated on-site parking. However, there are numerous parking options in the Broadway Theater District. Here's a link(Opens in new tab) to a Google map display of the various options in the Times Square area.

Taxis can stop outside the theatre for drop off and pick up.

The Minskoff Theatre is close to the 42nd Street - Times Square subway stop. You can take the 1, 2, 3, 7, N, Q, R, W and S lines to reach the stop.

THE LION KING is performed at the Minskoff Theatre on 200 W 45th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue in New York City’s Theater District. Individual and group tickets for the show are available through Ticketmaster and the Minskoff Theatre box office.

    This show was everything I dreamed it would be!!! I waited forever to see this show and my husband took to see it for my birthday !!!! I was captivated from the moment I entered the theatre .. the opening scene with all the animals coming down the aisle was Nothing short of spectacular. I got so emotional I cried . Everything was amazing , the costumes, the set design , the singing... EVERYTHING!!!!! I would see it over and over if I could

    The Lion King's music and the songs were amazing. The costumes were fun and colorful and I loved seeing some of the characters walk down the aisle and dance onto the stage. This musical was truly magical.

    Everyone was helpful and friendly. Drinks were really expensive but got a lion king cup which was a bonus. Performance was amazing! Costumes were clever, detailed and gave the wow! Scar and the hyenas were perfectly played! We loved Pumba and the young simba and Nala were great too! Affects, costumes, music, and certain characters made this performance!!

    The animal costumes were stunning. Although I was familiar with the storyline, it was easy to follow on stage. The performances and music were truly amazing. A must see show.

    The costume designs were the biggest surprise. Such great imagination to bring the characters to life! I can see why the Lion King has been such a long running show. I hope it is still there when my grand kids get a little older, they will love it.

    I've been trying to go affordably since it opened. Almost went 4yrs ago with a group and they canceled a week before. I came so close and finally made to my 1st Broadway play! I loved every moment of it! The performance & costumes were amazing! I am going again to see it that how good it was to me! Thank u for such an memorable evening
