Even though I had seen it before - although in a different country in different language - it was so amazing. The costumes are the best. We all know and love the story. It was done very well. Seeing it on Broadway was extra special. Anyone should see it at least once.

The Lion King was a beautiful amazing show from the singing, to the dancing, to costumes and portrayal of the animals, to the storyline. I very much enjoyed it and think everyone should see it at least twice. It is easily my favorite show of all time.

  • A must see show

by Rose on 8/2/19Minskoff Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Absolute amazing show, Rafiki stole the show!!..What a voice!!..Also Zazu is hugely entertaining!!...The costumes are spectacular, especially at the start of the show as all the animals make there way onto the stage, breathtaking. The second half is actually better than the first with some of the characters really coming into their own. A must see show for any Lion King fan.

  • Great show, not so great experience

    by A. C. on 7/28/19Minskoff Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

The show itself was absolutely amazing! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because of the atmosphere. Because this is a child friendly show, there were lots of small children in the audience. This resulted in a lot of talking during the show and lots of movement. We had small children on either side of us that cried or whined the entire show with lots of people getting up and walking past us or in front of us which blocked the stage. This did not make for an enjoyable Broadway experience.

  • Okay

    by J. on 7/28/19Minskoff Theatre - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

The set and costumes were Amazing, but we expected more from the adult Simba and Nala. The rest of the cast did an outstanding job. We were also disappointed by the selection of snacks available for purchase. When your spending more than $100 for a ticket to see a show, you should be able to eat better quality foods than Sour Patch Kids.
