  • Love this show

by Cassie on 6/15/25San Diego Civic Theatre - San DiegoRating: 4 out of 5

Love this show so much. The songs and acting were amazing. I feel like the sound quality and production were not on point. Getting in and out of the theater was super easy in San Diego and that was nice.

  • Bad sound

by GP In San Diego on 6/14/25San Diego Civic Theatre - San DiegoRating: 2 out of 5

Much of the show requires hearing the quick dialogue. We did not have the greatest seats and it was very difficult to hear. The sound system was not adequate If we had better seats within hearing distance our experience may have been better. We paid big bucks for mezzanine seats that I thought should have been good. Not the case

  • Great cast Bad sound

by Pad on 6/13/25San Diego Civic Theatre - San DiegoRating: 2 out of 5

A fun , show, though touchy script. Clever character revisions bringing it current in the "Mormon Hell Dream"scene were memorable! Great dancing too. Unfortunately the sound was very poor and distorted muddling a lot of probably funny lines. The orchestra, though very good, was over-miked and overwhelmed singers as well as many of us who needed to cover our ears to hear comfortably. Some adjustments for the second half did improve audio a bit. Worth the trip downtown battling traffic.

  • Hilariously funny!🤣

  • I "think"it was good.

by Barb on 5/19/25Stephens Auditorium - AmesRating: 2 out of 5

We sat in the 2nd row balcony, and we couldn't hear what the actors were saying. We caught about a third of it. What we picked up on was great, but I know we missed a lot as did the people around us. Several times we could hear the audience laughing below us, but no one up where we were was laughing, so I know they couldn't hear it either.

  • Absolutely hilarious

by ExUtahn on 5/5/25Citizens Opera House - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Second time I've seen this show (first time back in the pre-COVID days) and it remains absolutely hilarious. It aims to amuse and it aims to offend, and it does both of those well. However, for all the fun it pokes, the underlying message of community and self shines through. And it comes with absolutely brilliant songs.

  • Satire at its finest!

by Andre on 5/5/25Stephens Auditorium - AmesRating: 5 out of 5

I counted at least twelve people storm out of the venue during intermission absolutely furious. That's how you know you're watching a great comedy!

I think this traveling cast did an amazing job! I have never laugh so hard in my life! I went both night and they were both INCREDIBLE!!

  • Could not have loved more!!

by Ashley on 5/4/25Stephens Auditorium - AmesRating: 5 out of 5

We laughed from the moment the lights came on through the entire thing. I wanted to watch it again immediately after. Can’t wait for them to come back to town so we can go and take friends!

  • Laugh riot

by Katja on 4/30/25DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 4 out of 5

I did not know the inventors of South Park had their hands on this show - which explains some of the scenes. It was truly funny. I was most impressed by the singing and choreography - they were really exceptional.

  • Great harmonies, fun dancing!

by The Dupes on 4/28/25Citizens Opera House - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Book of Mormon is a disturbingly funny and entertaining show! Each of the actors were wonderful - the harmonies in the songs were a delight and the dancing, staging and costumes were fantastic! Five stars from our family and we'll be back to the Opera House (such a beautiful venue) again very soon!

  • Laugh til you cry

by Lu on 4/28/25Citizens Opera House - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

This was hysterical. They barbed just about everyone. Very close to the edge of being over the edge but so funny. I laughed til I cried...and so much so that I want to buy the album so I can hear the words, which were wonderful. The music, choreography, etc was outstanding. Would go again if I had the chance.

  • A wonderful time

by Mike on 4/27/25Citizens Opera House - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

The Book of Mormon was full of comedy. The cast energy was over the top. So well done it look natural which added to the spectacular show.

  • The Book of Mormon

by Roland on 4/26/25Citizens Opera House - BostonRating: 3 out of 5

Loved the syncopated dancing. However, found it hard to understand the diction because the actors spoke too fast.

  • Too much profanity for me.

by Charlie on 4/26/25Citizens Opera House - BostonRating: 2 out of 5

Good vocalists. The crowd seemed to like the show.

  • Absolutely HILARIOUS!!

by Marletta on 4/26/25Citizens Opera House - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

My husband and I couldn’t stop laughing throughout the entire show. The cast is excellent! A witty comedy that can be appreciated by a “mature” audience. If you ever get the chance to see the show, it’s definitely a must see!

  • The experience

by Billie on 4/25/25Citizens Opera House - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Recipient could not open transferred ticket- then was hospitalized and unable to attend. I wanted to sell tix thro TicketMaster - but was told I needed to send in more money to do this. All began to feel like a scam so I opted out. I’m sure the performance was incredible-it always is-

  • Fun but audio needs to be better

by ManUp on 4/22/25Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts - GreensboroRating: 4 out of 5

Great show of course but the orchestra overpowered the lyrics at times, and at times the lyrics just weren't clear even with orchestra at right volume, so we missed a lot of the witty fun. Friends who sat elsewhere had the same problem.
