  • Couldn’t Stop Laughing

by DC on 1/16/19Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

By far, this one of the best musical comedies I have ever seen. The cast was excellent, the script witty and insightful, and the music superb!! Outstanding job by all involved!!

Had great seats. We laughed during the entire show.

It was so good that I was upset when the curtain came down for intermission! I would go again and again!

This show was absolutely hilarious. It kept us laughing the entire time. Definitely not for kids.

  • Great Show, funny , not for the easily offended.

by Pats on 1/14/19Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Was hard to understand dialog during certain songs so missed many jokes. Not sure if it was the sound system or the actor. The Eugene O'neil theater does not have a bad seat, viewing wise, in the theater, very small so even the last row of the orchestra you could see the stage. Theater seats on the other hand not for anyone who is not petite. No leg room at all made for a very uncomfortable experience.

  • Mormon bash

    by G. V. on 1/13/19Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

It was funny but not as funny as I had heard it to be. I’m surprised it hasn’t been criticized for all the racist, homophobic, anti religious etc humor.

  • Still great!

I first saw Book of Mormon when it first opened. I recently saw it again with friends and it’s still just as funny and relevant!

Jokes were hysterical, music was catchy and correography was fun. A must see.

  • Loved it!!!

  • Fantastic performance

    by A. B. on 1/12/19Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Fabulous show, fantastic performance - the only reason I dont rate 5 stars, is that even though we paid $100 for the tickets, we sat so close to the entrance doors, that we felt the cold wind from outside.

  • The Book of Mormon

    by S. F. on 1/12/19Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

I had been told by friends who had seen the show to go in with no expectations or preconceptions. I did. The show was vulgar, vile, sordid, absurd, sacrilegious and absolutely hilarious. I loved it!! It is really a satire on life and religion. But in the end (pardon the pun), hope, faith and a commitment to community wins out. Go see it!

  • Decent but a bit stale

    by S. G. on 1/9/19Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

I guess I had higher expectations having been a fan of South Park since the beginning. I thought the overall show was good, music was fine but it was all a bit predictable and not as funny or witty as I had hoped.

  • Surprisingly Tasteful and Unapologetically Offensive

by LL on 1/9/19Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

This play has you laughing from the very beginning. If you call yourself a pragmatist, love south park, or you want to see how far religion can be taken when put in the hands of a prophet with an active imagination, this play is a must-see.

  • VERY funny

    by D. M. on 1/9/19Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

The story was not at all what I expected! Lots of laugh-out-loud moments, it was great.

  • Lots of Fun

    by J. G. on 1/9/19Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

A great laugh and the cast is amazing. We did see some younger kids about 7 and 10 years old. I bet they had some questions.

  • Laughed from start to end

  • Hilarious Show

    by Terry R. on 1/6/19Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing and funny show! Love the story, and the punchlines that were happening every 10 minutes. This is my second time seeing it and the jokes did not fail to disappoint. The last time I went there was a charity drive at the end, was hoping there would be another; mainly to get up close to the actors. The one tiny downside was the seating, Each row isn't elevated high enough from the one before it, so it was hard to have a clear view of the stage. I was sitting in Orchestra center row N, and unfortunately as a dwarf sized human, other people's head was blocking my view. Great show, great actors, very reminiscent of South Park (obvs) what's not to love?

  • A little repetitive

    by C. G. on 1/5/19Eugene O'Neill Theatre - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

Acting was amazing, but the writing was lazy. Same jokes over and over
